I don't know what Bristol's budget is but with finances being tight after Covid I can see loans being a big part of the summer window. The Albion already have a lot of youth out on loan and surely TH would be happy to loan players to the trusted CH who has a proven track record in the...
He has an excellent record in the Championship so a great appointment for Bristol City.
He interesting to see his budget and whether he will be knocking on the door for a couple of our players. Potentially a good loan move for some of our youth teamers.
I spoke to a Palace coach who left for Chelsea coaching the kids, maybe more money, better facilities, better opportunities, I don't know but with the new Cat 1 status you would have thought he would stay and see it through.
From what I can gather the youth are frustrated at the lack of...
Duffy isn't getting enough games, I can't see him being happy warming the bench and if White is worth in excess of £30 million can we afford not to sell him.
We all know the need to balance the books, we need to sell to buy quality. Knocky has already gone releasing £10 million, I can see March, Duffy, Jahanbakhsh, Schelotto and sadly Ben White leaving. I can also see Murray going out on loan.
That releases funds for purchases and salary, if White...
I'm a six, delighted we are staying up however subject to a proactive summer window we'll be in another relegation battle.
Talk of top ten is only subject to selling a few and replacing with better players but they come at a cost unless we can find two of three Lamptey's.
I can see improvement...
Can I just say Kathy is the best Landlady in the business and she does the best pint of Pride in the area. I miss both Kathy and London Pride.
She gets a few Albion fans in the pub, sadly far to many Palace.
My local pub the King and Queen in Caterham isn't opening because with the one metre rule they can only get a maximum of sixteen people in the pub.
I don't drink at home and am gagging for a decent pint but I.I'm happy to wait, haven't had a proper pint since Wolves away.
Totally this, since the restart we have looked a better team playing two up. Have a go at Norwich, I feel it's going to be an open game, Norwich will try to attack and hopefully leave gaps in defence.
I said on another thread both Lamptey and Bernardo as they are both blessed with pace.
It would be harsh to drop Lamptey after such an impressive debut.
Man Utd beat us with pace at OT earlier in the season and they are full of fast players across the pitch, we need to match that and sadly Gross doesn't fit the bill.
I would also play Lamptey and Bernardo and drop Burn to the bench.
Palace could easily afford the fees if they sell Zaha. Don't know what Dyche's relationship is like with the players but if a manager moves they often go back to the old club and cherry pick the best players.
Here in Palace territory they have been quietly confident that Dyche will leave Burnley in the summer join Palace and take with him Tarkowski and McNeil with the deal funded by the sale of Wilf and a couple of others who are big earners.
Don't shoot the messenger just reporting on local rumours.
We really need to avoid a "tonking" our goal difference is currently worth a point over the chasing pack.
It's a game for five at the back with pace in the wing backs, City are brilliant to watch, easily play the most attractive football in the league.
