By anyone what I meant was that yesterday (my first trip through Brighton and Hove) the people quite blatantly ignoring the guidelines were a very good cross section of people. I'm not sure it's wrong to pass judgement on what I saw and a fear that it might be repeated at a football match. To be...
OT but went from Seaford to Hove yesterday on train, huge disregard for masks and distancing on trains and in stations. I have sympathy for rail staff but I saw absolutely no attempts to have people comply. It's the first time I've used the train in months and I was horrified.
On that evidence...
That articles shows 'people queuing outside a job centre in Bristol in March 2009' I guess it's helpful to have a picture of 10 or so people just to reinforce the catastrophic employment situation. I'm still figuring out the relevance of March 2009
From what I saw, if Watford didn't have Sarr they would have been competing with Norwich for the wooden spoon.
Outstanding player who will end up somewhere better than Croydon I suspect
I had thought about it but I store very little on it apart from standard office docs. I don't run any software that needs much and the issue today I'm sure is some kind of bug that their support people will find.
But it is something I can keep an eye on ... thanks for the tip
I run windows 10 on a Laptop with 119GB Storage Space and I am getting warnings telling me it's full
When I go into Storage it tells me that 38.4GB is reserved for system files but my own applications and features are using 72GB. But when I look in there (in all drives) the whole lot only adds...
We went here for Ma in Law http://www.thywill.co.uk/ they did the job and price was reasonable as far as I remember. If they were better or worse than elsewhere I can't tell you but it all got doing very easily
We didn't do health as she was in a care home and we didn't really see the point...
Definitely in my top 3 best evers ........... where are you seeing it? Just did a quick search on iplayer and can't see it scheduled, just previous showings
There's always a risk that Tenerife stop foreign nationals from entering, although unlikely. When we left Tenerife during their lockdown at the end of March the inbound flight from Gatwick had about 10 people on it and 6 of them were turned straight back round as they weren't Spanish nationals...
Thankfully they cancelled the cruise 4 days before we had to pay the balance so we got the deposit back. On top of that, our flights to Barcelona (booked ages before virus kicked off) were cancelled last week so have got the money back for those too.
Can't see any hope for cruises until...
It's a tough one. We have a home in the Canaries and the issue there (in March) was the vast number of people decamping from Madrid and Barcelona and from a situation well under control it quickly deteriorated.
Maybe the number of cases in Balaerics and Canraies is fairly low right now but I...
I'm sure it's been said but first thing would be to ask all STH's if they want to attend under restrictions. That may well be enough to get below a maximum number if not then ballot.
Whatever system is adopted (and I'm not sure it will come to it) needs to be as 'admin friendly' as possible
(Sadly) I think you're right.
It's fairly easy for those (like my children, those packing out the beaches and soho streets at the weekend) that just want to get on with it and "take their chances" as it is for the elderly/vulnerable that will have to take whatever measures they can or feel...
