It's no different. Clearly. And it's what I and a number of people have been saying. What it does is clarify the situation.
People accuse Romano of getting all his info from agents. If that is so, then we can assume that Caicedo thinking he is 100% leaving because he has 'a pact with the...
To be fair Romano says three things:
1) Chelsea are getting closer to agreeing personal terms with Caicedo.
2) There is no deal with the Albion so the signing is still a long way off.
3)Caicedo 100% believes he's leaving. The key phrase here though is 'he has a pact with the club that he can...
If Caicedo does genuinely '100%' believe he's leaving then this is going to be a very messy saga with a huge amount of noise around it.
I hope we absolutely rinse the f***ing pricks for all they've got.
Why do people think Burnley are going to get relegated? I'd be very surprised if they did. They absolutely smashed the championship last year. They had the best defence, the best attack, broke 100 points and only lost three times.
When a team gets promoted comfortably from the championship...
I am delighted with that. I'm back for the first three weeks of the season and was worried we'd only get one home game in that time. Two is superb!
Makes the extortionate price of the plane tickets and the 15 hour flight almost worth it...
I guess I'm both strange and deluded then.
I think it's 50/50 that he's leaving this summer. I have no doubt that Arsenal and probably Chelsea at least will be in for him. I have no doubt that Caicedo would be happy to join either of those.
BUT, there is no release clause or escape mechanism...
I think he does.
The reason he is earning 300k+ a week at man utd is because he set the bundesliga alight while he was at Dortmund. And he was at Dortmund because as a 17 year old he wanted to play first team football and Man City wouldn't give it to him. So he left, and moved to a new...
The starting 11 that played you off the park and beat you at Stamford Bridge cost about the same as one Cucurella. So, actually it's pretty useful money.
The side that humiliated you at the Amex cost roughly a Cucurella and most of a Potter. So again, pretty useful.
:)
To your first point, it certainly seems that way and that's fair enough, he's your player and if you don't want to sell you won't(at least not at a price we can afford). We'll bid as much as we can and then move on.
For your second point, if it is then Levi will sign and be happy to. If it...
That's only partly true. Every player is for sale. It is, however, highly, highly unlikely that we'll offer anywhere near the number it would take to make Chelsea sell. Fair enough, that's Chelsea's prerogative.
So it's up to Chelsea this summer but if you don't give him a) a new contract...
Tune!
Haven't listened to the album in an age but loved it back in the day. I remember seeing them at Glastonbury and thinking I'd just seen the next big thing...
