There are cases where an option to buy has been triggered by the club loaning in, but the club loaning out has instead paid compensation and kept the player. No idea if this is possible under the loan deal we have struck, but moving would also depend on Undav being happy with the contract...
Have gone optimistic with 23, based on 2 clean sheets last games, Pedro coming back, Barco being special, Enciso getting back to his best, Buonanotte and Baleba continuing to improve and just the general desire of the squad to be totally focused on PL points now.
Potters strength was tactical variation, but is changing the set up during a game frequently a sign that you got it wrong at the start frequently?
I think we saw a shift in De Zerbi against Forest, we didn't take big risks, we played within ourselves and ground out a win. Not half as much fun...
I would be surprised if he left, I don't think he has shown enough to land a massive job, and I think comments from Barber around having a short list for who replaces De Zerbi and comments from De Zerbi that leave the door open are either just factually true answers to probing questions, or at...
They don't quote the question he was asked, the context would probably ruin the story. I suspect he was just pushing away a question about whether he would be here next season, with a "I am thinking about this season, not where I might be next season." type answer.
A bit like the English tourists, I have sat quietly reading this thread without commenting, till now. To go European, I guess I should have typed in CAPS and made my comment irrelevant to the conversation, and used emojis.
I reckon a shit performance and being stuffed 4-0 might be contributory factor. We're the best behaved supporters in the land, when we win, we're a right bunch of bastards when we lose.
Can't imagine De Zerbi letting anyone else pick the team or tell him to include certain players over others. It's fair to criticise the environment to an extent, but you also have to stand up for yourself, it's your team.
We know we can play better, but really should have only been a 2-1 defeat on the performance. I think we can put 4 or 5 past these at the Amex, trouble is, I can't see us keeping them at nil.
