I regret him going, if he does. But some things are bigger than football. If his family can't settle here for whatever reason then I wish him all the best. Its a shame Sami could not get the best out of him but Hughton looks as though he might; but that's the way it goes. We have to move on.
Must be an old guy, me
A 24" flat screen in living room and err.. that's it. Even when our two boys were at home they didn't have TV's in their room - not us being prohibitive, they never wanted them - and had an old 17" in spare room used in the past for PS games, but never any more than that...
An annual net loss cut by 33% since last year. That is a serious cut. The Barber bashers will focus on his salary, but for me, if he's been able to do that then we are going in the right direction.
Not taking it out on you, but its the Parish Council who want the Cricket Club to brass up; not the District or County. Parish Councils don't fund essential services like children's services, provision for elderly and/or disabled.
However another customer at the same KFC, a Mr K Agustein said he had had no problems with his bucket of 6 fried chicken pieces and large fries, and was probably going to go there again later the same day.
I'd always thought it was transmitter problems that meant news coverage of Sussex is :-
(a) shite; and
(b) disjointed.
But can anyone explain why BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey also cover Aldershot FC in tedious detail. Last time I looked Aldershot was in fecking Hampshire !
Only met her a couple of times during 'the troubles'; at away games where I met up with Mailing List Seagulls; but was aware of what a stalwart she was in supporting. organising and protesting. A sad day.
If we go down that route where would it end? Any club losing a sponsor for whatever reason could claim the 'Oldham/Ched Evans' precedent' as a reason why they too should be compensated. Sorry, BG; but I can't agree with that idea; whichever side of the fence one is on on the Ched Evans situation.
According to a tweet I've got it IS Crawley (sorry, I don't seem to be able to embed tweets here - new technology confuses old git) comes from a Twitter account called 'Transfer News Live'.
How reliable that is though......
I appreciate Burke is now the official scapegoat for everything that may have gone wrong in the past 2.5 years, but no-one could have kept Ulloa here as soon as we lost in the playoffs when he had the chance to play in the Prem. And whether or not we should have offered Barnes more to stay would...
I don't think you can separate these things neatly to individuals. I've always assumed Burke is given a budget and has ceilings for what can be offered in terms of purchase price, salary, appearance money and all the other add on bollocks.
So he has to work within parameters set by - presumably...
It was from Websters brewery in - I think - Halifax ( certainly Yorkshire) which was part of Watneys empire. Not sure when it shut but as per usual the beer was then brewed elsewhere.
?? The Warrington Brewery is not only not good, it was demolished several years ago, replaced by the Warrington Wolves Rugby League stadium. Similarly the The Leeds Brewery was closed in 2011, and demolished in 2012.
I love Harvey's, was brought up on it and when in Sussex drink it to the...
Interesting! If so were they giving a way a clue with the music playing at the end of last night's episode? (John Cale's version of 'Heartbreak Hotel')
