And after all that you ignore the possibility of a miscarriage of justice. Guildford four, Birmingham six, etc etc.
What if a member of you family was falsely convicted of murder and executed????
I think you're missing the point. Encroachment should be eliminated so if a player encroaches and scores a rebound then the goal shouldn't stand and a free kick given to the offending team. Players knowing that would therefore not encroach as there is no advantage to be gained. However, as it...
Yet in America where they have the death penalty, out of the G7 countries they have by far and away the worst rate of murders! You can't read the mind of every individual, so you only draw conclusions/opinion from the statistics. So, no I don't think my comment was dumb.
To be fair it's a bit of both however who honestly thinks it's a better punishment than making someone spend the rest of their life behind bars! Cost wise I suspect it is considerably more expensive than keeping him alive behind bars bearing in mind the continual appeals and court cases etc...
Personally think the ref decision is what should be the correct one. Player encroached and took an advantage illegally therefore his team should be penalised and not given a second chance of scoring.
Fair enough although I would say our experience is very different as i can't remember when we failed to get an advance ticket. We get our tickets in the top tier and get train tickets immediately after.
If Fifa want to do something meaningful then stop handing out paltry fines when countries (and particularly some of the eastern european ones) allow racist abuse from their fans. And if they get a stadium ban, enforce it, don't let them fill it with racist children!!
The league refs can't do anything about the crowd but they can about players and most of the time they don't which is the behaviour that filters down to grassroots players and how they believe they can get away with the same behaviour.
Didn't think it was that bad. Having said that, the first three people I met this morning were a scarecrow, a tin man and someone in an awful lion costume. And some pratt has painted the road a stupid colour!!
There is a massive difference between criticising well paid professional officials when they make glaring mistakes and giving a 14 year old an abysmal time when he is just starting out and learning the job. I have a lot of time for grassroots officials (I coached a girls team for nearly 10...
It wasn't though. He's moved it at least a foot and half (he moves it twice). If the ref had seen it he would have moved it back. Toney made sure the ref was facing the other way. What is odd is what the hell did Husdon-Odoi think he was doing. There were no players out wide so he could have...
Agree, not always easy to see the nuance in a post! If you read everything that Trump is posting you'd think he was taking the piss and then it turns out he genuinely believes what he says!!
