Maybe three heavy home wins tonight will cheer us all up a little.
Oh yes - mid 50s, extremely pissed off, particularly as my last four attendances have been Bournemouth, Villa, Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd :tantrum::annoyed::down::annoyed:
Hopefully we will play someone who is willing to run at defenders, cross the ball into the danger area and even take a shot or two. We have plenty of players capable of passing the ball around the opponent's D. :tantrum:
Unfortunately, we are still devoid of any attacking threat.
Hopefully that will change on Tuesday. Oh, the constant hoping that is the plight of the Albion fan! :albion2:
Just back from the game and still fuming after that gutless, toothless second half performance. Whilst we were lucky to come away with a point after the last 45 minutes, it was certainly two points dropped. Should have put the game to bed in the first half, but what do you expect with our...
Exactly this.
My concern is that too often we do not turn up in the big games against our fellow strugglers. Hopefully not so today and we will come out fighting, show inventiveness in the final third and pepper the Villa goal with shots. Looking forward to the game.
I have seen them a couple of times and am going to see them again later this year. I would strongly recommend going to see them - they put on a really good show and the nostalgic singalongs are great - but then I am stuck in the 70s and 80s!
Very similar to watching the first team, including being fairly lacklustre in the final third - passing and dribbling backwards and forwards across the opponents D instead of taking a shot or getting the ball into the danger zone. They should have equalised at the end.
One of my earliest and fondest memories following The Albion. What a day, standing in the East Stand with my Dad. Unfortunately, MOTD was after my bedtime!
Almost forgot, but credit where credit is due. When I picked up my online order from the club shop (very nice college scarf and travel mug) I was given a free box of chocolate buttons - nice touch.
Thank you to both you and BH. I too have been anti Talkshite for years, but have tuned in on my tablet and it seems okay, but much better than The Cricket Social. Call me old fashioned, but I will miss the days of being able to tune in to the Test Match on the terrestrial radio in my car!
