    The Albion Roar

Just a reminder that we're on air at 8am tomorrow on 97.2FM in Brighton & Hove, online at www.radioreverb.com and on DAB+. Lots of people, lots of fun. And you don't even have to get out of bed this time.

    Awkwarrrrrd

They can describe it as a joke if they wish, but I bet they've never used their forum to play a major and direct part in resurrecting their football club from near-oblivion. What's that? They haven't? Well, that's one-up to us then. :albion:

    Jose Izquierdo correct pronunciation?

    " 'E is scared, though."

Big Board to celebrate it's 3 millionth post today!

Apostrophes aren't used in possessive pronouns. I - mine You - yours He - his She - hers It - its We - ours You - yours They - theirs Somewhat unhelpfully, there is an exception to this - when using 'one' as a pronoun. One - one's :)

FA Cup to move to midweek?

    This. 100%.

FA Cup to move to midweek?

I'm alright, Jack. You can pull away the ladder now. :tosser:

    The Albion Roar

True. I did make that point on the show, to be fair. You may have to tell all, in the most salacious detail (not the Sandra Dee / Danny Zuko saccharine way) about this conquest. Not on air, though.

    The Albion Roar

We're back for our first Albion Roar radio show of the season on Saturday 12 August - LIVE for two hours from the Open Market in Brighton at 8am on Radio Reverb 97.2FM. Guests include Bob Booker, Malcolm Stuart, Brian Owen, Kieran Maguire, Joanna Hunter from Piglets Pantry, David Rider, and...

    Joke du jour

The 'woman' has quite a sense of bluntness. 'I want' is all well and good, but not particularly conducive to a pleasant business or social interaction. And as for saying what kind of perm, let alone not even saying 'please', the manners are dreadful. It's astonishing frankly that the...

An Evening With Booker & McGhee

Incidentally - you can buy your tickets over the phone, though it's cheaper to go online, and cheaper still to book in person. Booking fees.

    41,000 pints

It's always easy to be wise after the event. Suppose we'd lost that day? Mind you, I don't recall beer running out that day. Last thing I did when I left was to throw my pint glass in the bin.
  13. The Albion Roar

An Evening With Booker & McGhee

A rare treat for all Albion fans. On Wednesday 6th September at Komedia in Brighton, former manager Mark McGhee teams up for the first time in years with former assistant Bob Booker for an evening of tales from the dressing room, dugout and manager’s office. The famous double-act guided the...

Your Albion predictions for the coming season for the Roar...

PREDICTION TIME OK, folks - it's that time of the year where your unbridled optimism (hey, we're level on points with Chelsea AND Manchester City at the moment) gives way to a wrecking-ball reality check. So while we've got your minds, hearts and souls looking our way, let's have your season's...

Brighton and Hove Albion hero Steve Foster reflects on scars of the past

Nope. Case would run the midfield on his return without having to break sweat. He'd sit in the middle and spray passes around, landing on a sixpence.

    Ed Bassford - Lord Bracknell

All our best wishes to the entire Bassford family.
  18. The Albion Roar

    Ed Bassford - Lord Bracknell

In no given order, it was a day of laughter, tears, sadness and fondness. For a start, Ed's funeral was very well attended. The Large One and ROSM were charged with handing out the Order of Service sheets, and seeing as Roz said she'd printed off 200, and some didn't get one, that gives you an...

    Preston Park station getting closed.....again!

Nope. They're operating a queuing system not dissimilar to when the Albion are at home. To have the barriers functioning at Brighton tomorrow is a recipe for carnage.

    Ed Bassford - Lord Bracknell

Today is a sad day. Today we say goodbye to our fine friend Ed Bassford. A kind, intelligent, generous, funny man with many stories, and for whom all Brighton & Hove Albion should be so grateful. His knowledge, wisdom and tenacity through the most trying times of the club's history should...
