    [NSC] Your garden.

I last used my mower a couple of weeks ago. Not to cut the grass but it's an easy way to 'hoover up' the leaves from my apple trees etc

[Football] CL / EL and that sort of shite

I saw that. Must be really unusual 🤔

[Misc] Sayings your old mum or dad said.

Not so much a saying but when swearing my dad always used 'sod'. In those days you never heard the word f&@k. How times change

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

If you remember, once he was forced to resign although he was still prime minister while they held the selection process for his successor he basically went on holiday from that point. Stopped doing the job that he's paid for and downed tools. Considering he is still under investigation it's...

    [Politics] EU Customs Union

As I left the country, mostly due to brexit I would not vote. I made my choice and don't think it's right for me to take part even if I was allowed to.

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

I'm glad I escaped before the transition period ended :)

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

Clearly Liz Truss cannot carry on. The problem is if another conservative leader and therefore Prime Minister is installed there is potential to be back in this position again where for the 3rd time in less than a year the government is collapsing and can't function. I think for the sake of...

[Albion] Player ratings Brighton - Notts Forest

I was there that day. Tommy Johnson took us to the cleaners

[Albion] Solly March, local lad and Premier League star, is f***ing brilliant

Solly gets a fair bit of stick on nsc but he has been our most consistent player this season. He is desperately unlucky not to score yet this season as he has had so many chances. But you won't see him give up and not try, he leaves everything on the pitch every time. Maybe it's because he is...

[Politics] Are your halloween decorations up yet?

It's just another big commercial opportunity dreamed up (for UK purposes) by the big retailers, one of which I used to work for. You know the what we called the seasonal aisle. It's all about these sales opportunities, basically selling worthless junk. Every few weeks it will change to the next...

[Misc] When does the new week start?

I think the meal half way through the day is lunch :-) Do you want to scream now? :)

    [Misc] Own Teeth? . . . Dentures? . . . Implants?

I had an implant on the bottom set at the back about 10 years ago aged 50. To replace wisdom tooth plus the one next to it that had been lost. Was expensive but best decision ever. Perfectly natural, forget it is there

[Politics] Move all political threads to the bear pit?

Like some other posters here I think that the big board might be a bit dull without politics. Also because running the country affects everyone's lives. Problems seem to arise when arguments take place. In some cases maybe just a couple of posters get in an overheated discussion which can take...

    [Albion] Enock Mwepu (Retired 10/10/2022)

That's terrible. Poor bloke, so young and career all over. Hope he will be ok

    [Football] Worst football match….

I remember us having a goaless draw with Burnley in the championship at a time when they were going for promotion and we were near the bottom. It was dreadful! I remember saying to my son that we weren't good enough and Burnley didn't even try.

    [TV] Albion v Everton - Feb 1982 - ITV4 +1 14:30 today

Lovely goal from Fozzie! How many times I felt that Smith must score............. but he didn't :-( I was most likely at that match in the old North Stand

    [Albion] Mark McGhee retires

I was at the play off in Cardiff as well. I remember Nathan Jones having a great game on the left side and big Mark McCammon going down like a sack of spuds to win the penalty which Leon Knight dispatched. Not the best game, but a great day out with my son :-)
