[Albion] To the clown who delayed the train at home at Gatwick last night...

Our group did the same on the way there too. Train to Victoria, in the pub and then the reverse of the route I said back, in The Green Man for a few massively overpriced beers and then to Wembley. Travel wasn't too bad in all honesty, only problem was having to run for the train home after...

[Albion] Can we talk about Sanchez ?

[Albion] To the clown who delayed the train at home at Gatwick last night...

That was actually the quickest way to and from Wembley to Victoria. Jubilee has too many stops for the first part of the journey so Metropolitan to Baker Street, Jubilee to Green Park and then Victoria line to Victoria was the best way back. Got to the station for about 20:10 using that route.

    [Food] Carbon negative products

Ah apologies mixed up my numbers as I was basing off memory. 80% of soybeans grown world wide are hard for livestock. 80% of agricultural land is used for livestock despite producing 20% of the calories. Globally it's 36% for livestock and in the UK 40% of our crops are used for livestock...

What do you think the livestock eat? Hint - 80% of crops grown worldwide are used to feed livestock.

[TV] Finally broken the SKY TV spell

Yep when our Virgin contract ran out after 12 months and we said we were just going to cancel as their "best offer" of £140 was far too much they suddenly managed to offer £90 instead, £5 more than our original contract but with inflation etc not bad. £50 a month is still a lot. We were...

[Other Sport] Protester climbs onto crucible snooker table

It's really not though. Best meal I've ever had was vegan food and I've eaten plenty of good meals with meat in them.

[Other Sport] Protester climbs onto crucible snooker table

Animals eat other animals because they don't have a choice or the moral ability to make that decision. They also can't just go down the shop and buy a food that has all the nutritional value they need. Humans have the ability to not eat any animal products at all and still be perfectly...

And yet you've done no research into what each point was. These were generally worst case scenarios that we've avoided. However a lot of them are currently coming true or on track to come true.

That's an awfully good strawman argument you've got there, it would probably be the best scarecrow around if you stuck it in a field.

Ah yes because if we can't get perfection why bother right?

Bottom dredging fishing releases as much CO2 annually as the entire aviation industry. Animal agriculture and fishing is one of the biggest contributors to climate change and habitat loss worldwide.

The two go hand in hand though. Eating meat is repugnant and meat is a leading cause of climate change. It is also the largest cause of animal abuse in the world.

    [Food] Restaurant thread 2023

For the vegetarians here who might miss fish and chips, No Catch in Brighton is excellent having been there twice. The "Smoked Haddock" is delicious and flaky whilst the Saveloy is much as I remember them to be. Excellent triple cooked chips too in a big portion size.

Depends on where you're going. The Roundhill won best roast dinner in Brighton and Hove and is absolutely delicious. Also serve some good, reasonably priced pints in there.

    [Food] Restaurant thread 2023

Went to Kusaki for valentine's last year and it was delicious. We got a 7 course tasting menu for £35 a head I think and every course was great. Still need to try their normal menu though.

[Albion] Julio Enciso - Paraguay’s new wonder kid (Signed 17/06/2022)

That's not true, we had no more sub windows left as we used all 3 for injuries.

But he was also absolutely unbelievable for the 60 minutes before that. The amount of running he did the whole game it's no surprise he dipped towards the end!

    [Technology] Football Manager 2022/2023

Rizzo is decent as a youngster too. Seimen wont join until he's 18 but gets incredibly good. I got a potentially world class newgen in my first intake so am keeping Sanchez until he's ready. Only problem is he's low determination at 16 years old so I've brought in Buffon and Pasveer to...
