[Misc] Don't open this link unless you have time to waste

You can’t convince me all of the DLR and Overground exists, some of those are only on the map I’m sure of it

[Albion] Paul Barber and Bennet's Field.

Honestly probably be wise to build it with a gate, but even then it’ll still get used as a lay-by. I mean people regularly pick up from the roundabout and the bridge over the A27 already!

    [Albion] Fan advisory board

One of the big issues with transport is a lot of it is out of the club’s control. The coach park often seems at capacity, so I don’t see how much more park and ride provision can really be provided. Southern can be contracted to run more trains as well as heavily encouraged, but their issues...

[Albion] Albion adds over £600m to the local economy

I have to assume the drip of stories about the benefits of the club for the city, alongside the announcement of the council’s support for a women’s stadium, mean we’re either getting the women’s stadium or some other substantial development work soon. All feels like it’s laying the groundwork to...

[Albion] Paul Barber and Bennet's Field.

While I agree there are significant traffic concerns at the start/end of University terms, those concerns basically already exist with the Brighton and Sussex campuses, and the two student developments that flank Falmer station. Will it make it worse? Probably a bit. But the significant majority...

[Albion] Paul Barber and Bennet's Field.

I assume that is fine, the area of the car park currently in use is owned by the club I believe

[Albion] Paul Barber and Bennet's Field.

Just to support what other were saying, no there is no access between stadium carparks and the new development's access road. Could there potentially be? Possibly, but a big part of the development's pitch is car free (there are some accessibility bays but thats it). In fact there's a pretty...

    [Albion] Brighton Women's Home Ground?

Yeah, most teams share a men's stadium so the league are perfectly capable of arranging things to avoid clashes like that. The fact the women's fixtures come out a month or two after the men's fixtures makes it fairly easy to sort

    [Albion] Brighton Women's Home Ground?

So more seriously, while the Velodrome would be very good for me personally, you'd lose a good cycling track as well as the cricket ground that exists inside the track and is (in my experience) pretty well used. It would also likely impact the tennis courts that are next to the track, and I...

    [Albion] Brighton Women's Home Ground?

Given that's very walkable from my house, I'm in favour!

[Albion] Scarfs for the Ajax game

I think I have the special scarf they did with Worthing to honour Grimstone and Schilt after Shoreham, am tempted to dig that out.

[Albion] Brighton Women vs Spurs Sunday 15th October

6,951 attendance, excellent effort. I think that may be the record, certainly higher than last season’s Amex game. Surely shows the desire for more games at the Amex, and strengthens the case for the proposed stadium. However, not there on pitch, no edge particularly when Terland came off...

[Brighton] Council to discuss stadium for the women's team.....

That's this season where we've only played one game at home and it was immediately before the Liverpool game (literally the final whistle blew as the men's game was starting). Last season isn't HUGE but is much better reading. And the peak attendance for last year was over 5k in the one game...

[Brighton] Council to discuss stadium for the women's team.....

Whitehawk doesn't have great transport links, but I still think it would be sensible to at least explore. Same with Withdean. I do also wonder if we could get an actual community stadium out of it? Particularly given I believe the absolute max games for a women's side season is about 25 games...

    [Albion] The injustice against Brighton

Bart being able to save it isn't really relevant, otherwise you can never a DOGSO where the keeper is back. And the rule isn't last man, but is commonly interpreted that way. Yes Dunk is back (I wasn't sure till just watching the highlights), but when Gross pulls the shirt Dunk is nowhere near...

    [Albion] Brighton Women's Home Ground?

I think attendance was about half what it is normally at the Broadfield, so the clash certainly hurt it. Noticed lots of kids who'd clearly played beforehand arriving late to the second part of your point I do think we need a bit more joined up thinking with fixtures etc...

    [Albion] The injustice against Brighton

So on Gross, just run through the DOGSO check list distance between the offence and the goal - This is pretty obviously met, he's inside the box general direction of the play - While the pass from Nunez is away from goal, the general direction of the play is that they're in the final phase of...

[Drinking] Brighton bottom of the League (and Burnley top).

So East Slope got knocked down for the new blocks a few years back and Grapevine close in about 2007 when I was studying there (as did a very small cocktail bar in Park Village). There is Northfield Bar at the far end of the campus and Falmer Bar, and there used to be a bar right by the library...

The Swan and Falmer Bar are obvious. Is the last Ruby on Coldean Lane?
