That shows he’s passionate and engaged, particularly impressive at his age and in a no hoper as you say. Deserves to be rewarded in the longer term for sure. I saw he’s a football coach and youth worker, alongside working in retail. Really seems a guy trying to help his community
Caroline Lucas had very few links to Brighton when she stood for Brighton Pavilion (the only one I can see is that she was one of the MEPs for the South East, which faintly counts). However, she's done an excellent job in my view and does care about the area.

Always use Thamelink these days. It's cheaper, the trains are longer (they never sneak a 4 carriage service on at peak for example), and London Bridge, Farringdon and St Pancras are all at least as connected as Victoria is for TfL services. Plus the rear most First Class is always declassified...
Awful for Lewes, do really feel for them. I know they were seeking a cash injection with new investors last year that was turned down by their members, so I suppose pausing the girl's pathway makes sense. But still a huge shame.
I really hope it was a threatened leak, otherwise just horrible timing from the club. Much rather their hand was forced.
Knew we were gonna lose which softens the blow a bit in the WSL, but wasn't expecting it to be such a poor showing. Also didn't help that I got absolutely cooked in unexpected...
Chips were a bit rubbish and got absolutely cooked. Men’s team announcement coming mid game also felt poor IMO and understandably flattened the atmosphere
While not absolutely true, this is more true than not in the WSL. In the last ten seasons (including this season) we’ve seen these teams qualify for Europe
2014: Liverpool, Chelsea
2015: Chelsea, Man City
2016: Man City, Chelsea
2017-18: Chelsea, Man City
2018-19: Arsenal, Man City
2019-20...
Falmer is, by some margin, the most sensible site logistically. If they can make it work that would be wonderful. If the playing fields next to the station work that is, of course, ideal. I do think it's a bit of a tight squeeze though
Not even surprised, she really had to be in there. Incredibly pivotal for the club. And Bunny Shaw is probably the most deserved winner possible, just dominant to an absurd degree.
I do agree with the consensus that any trouble is extremely unlikely to occur, I more wonder if either club will jump the gun and provide additional resources just in case, even if they're not needed ultimately.
Frustrating to lead that long only to get the draw. Other results have set up the Villa game on Saturday as absolutely huge.
In news from the Women’s Championship, Palace finish the season as champions and will be in the WSL next season. Be interesting to see what’s done with segregation etc…...
The main issue is, yes, the Amex is just too big and they'd actually like to move to the Amex if crowds grow to justify it. I think if they could regularly fill the lower tier then playing at the Amex is justified.
As for expanding the potential new stadium, Barber has actually talked about...
