Hi nsc
Are there any good pub quizzes in Brighton? I'm going to be missing my regular tokyo one for a few months but will be back in Brighton in August so thought I might get my quiz fix while I'm there.
Thanks!
Man city did it too when they were trying to buy Cucurella. To be fair they kept their word so hopefully chelsea will too(provided they have actually said they wont go above 80m).
It is a weirdly worded and strange thing to say though. Maybe it's an attempt to make their thicko fans think...
I like it. The more they hold out for a ridiculous fee for wantaway, one year left on his contract Mount, the less they can complain when we hold out for an even more ridiculous figure for Caicedo.
60m for mount? 120m for Caicedo...
No, they won't get it back off one loan but if, for example, there is a 500k loan fee then that's 1.5m we'll get paid over those three loans and then if we can sell him for say 1.5-2m then we've got half the fee back, paid minimal wages so haven't lost too much.
Is it? I know(or think i know!)...
Would Rangers be his second or third loan with us?
Basically, are we getting our money back as it doesn't look like he'll be troubling the first team any time soon and 7m is a heftyish outlay.
If we were snide could we play Ferguson, Enciso, Sarmiento and Buonnanote? Would Caicedo qualify? Any other first team players we could sneak in in the pursuit of glory?
I'm not so sure.
Who's going to watch it?
You know how we now have Japanese NSC members? And jokes are made about how many Japanese are turning up at Albion games? You know how many tourists are at Premier league games? How there are hundreds of Koreans at Spurs games?
Those people. Or...
Yeah, I understand the basic idea. To clarify in case you thought I was against the tour(I'm not) I'm just curious as to how it's being seen in the states.
My questions are are these games being heavily pushed in the states? Regardless of the games selling out in the stadiums are they being...
Bobby Z for me. Not just for the effect he had on the team/club(which was HUGE) but for the fact that we sold him for about 15 times what we payed for him.
I wasn't around for Ward so I can't comment on him and the effect he had on the club. I'd guess we sold him for considerably more than 15...
Maybe my memory is faulty but I seem to remember his sacking being a debate of whether it was the right decision or not rather than people slagging him off personally.
I don't think I've seen anyone have anything but good things to say about Hughton as a person and even when talking about his...
We can be fairly sure it won't be another Mac Allister situation as Caicedo's agent has publicly said(in an interview) that there is no release clause in Caicedo's contract. I think it has previously been posted either on this thread or one of the other Caicedo threads.
In terms of standing in...
It's mad that other than being rescued alive that that's the next best outcome. But it is. It's better than running out of oxygen after four days of no oxygen and presumably very limited food/water and all the attendent horror that comes with the situation.
I get the start of a panic attack if I spend too much time thinking about what they're doing/going through. Five people sitting in a 6m long tube, 2.4 miles under the sea, with limited oxygen just waiting to either die or be rescued and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it. It's...
