[Albion] Match Thread: Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wannabe Brighton & Hove Albion

All or nothing for Dahoud and Caicedo... I like that you could play two completely different 11's and they'd both be decent: Steele Veltman Webster Dunk Estupinian Caicedo Gilmour March Lallana Mitoma Welbeck Verbruggen Lamptey JPVH Igor Milner Dahoud Gross Enciso Pedro Adingra Ferguson With...

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

I know that they're huge and one of the last songs I posted was one of theirs but what a band foo fighters could have been if he Dave hadn't gone done the sugar coated production, mainstream crowd pleasing root.

    [Albion] Bissouma replacing Caicedo thoughts?

Easy, Bissouma gets his song back; Mitoma gets My Mitoma to the tune of My Sharona. Problem solved. And yes, I'd love Bissouma back. Great player.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Chelsea have chillwell fit and unless a Saudi team take him off their hands cucurella for the next 17 years(or however long his contract is). City made do pretty well last year and I think they have a promising young kid coming through at lb so probably don't want to block his path.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Imagine if Chelsea made the same mistake and paid 100m for Estupinian thinking he was Caicedo. They'd be  livid when they found out.

[Albion] Match Thread: Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wannabe Brighton & Hove Albion

I very much enjoyed the celebration of the guy in the white shirt after Pedro scored the penalty. He's giving it full beans celebrating a goal to make it 4-2 with 10 minutes left in a pre season friendly. That is commitment to enjoying the day! Anyone know who he is? Is he an nsc-er? If...

[Albion] Match Thread: Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wannabe Brighton & Hove Albion

Only saw the second half but apart from Van Hecke being a silly boy there were lots of individual positives. Jaoa Pedro looked very good. Adingra looked lively when he got the opportunity. He probably wasn't expecting to play half an hour at right back. Undav looks to be carrying on where he...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

It'll be a hot war if Colwill pings one into the top corner past Kepa...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Oh, that is GLORIOUS! Nonsensical, verbose, allusions to Shakespeare and thus, you know, he must have some brains and culture, an overwhelming lack of self awareness; is he the Chelsea Killer Whale?

[Albion] Is Chelsea and Brighton becoming a RIVALRY?

No, of course not. But, like Leeds with Ben White, a lot of their twitter/online fans are going to provide us with a lot of entertainment over the next few days/weeks . If Caicedo ends up staying then we'll get even more entertainment for even longer. I imagine that if we beat them in a...

    [Albion] Sarmiento out on loan

He really does need to get a run of games. He's missed a lot of time in his two years with us due to injury. The club clearly have a lot of belief in his ability otherwise they wouldn't have given him that new long term contract, its just about getting him game time ready and capable of...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

I think the difference is that in this case Colwill's public actions/words are backed up 'behind the scenes' if @Bozza is to be believed. I think it's fair to say we can trust Bozza so I'm taking it as more than Colwill saying empty platitudes.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

I guess it depends on your meaning of nothing. It means that there is a willingness on his side to play for us. Which means that should Chelsea change their minds and find him surplus-ish to requirements then a deal can be made. It means that if Chelsea do decide to sell him and we go...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Is that concrete in that you know for a fact that he's wanted to join us since before the season ended or an educated guess? I'd assumed that it was a little like Ben White during the Leeds 'saga' in that he'd probably be happy whichever way it went. There has certainly been plenty of...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Naylor in the Athletic reaffirms that the club value Caicedo at 100m. No suggestion that we're even looking to go lower. He also suggests that the club strongly believe that Colwill wants to join us and doesn't rule out that we might end up signing two left sided centre backs. We're not keen...

    [Albion] Expectations 23/24

I guess that's why you prefer Germany to the land of hope and (not much) glory! I don't but maybe I should. Winning everything would be in the realms of ultimate fantasy. I hadn't thought of actually hoping for it.

    [Albion] Expectations 23/24

Are these peoples expectations or hopes? If they are expectations then they're quite lofty. My hope is for more quality football and goals. I'd love a cup run, ideally in Europe and a trophy would be outstanding.

[Albion] Which Player Are You Most Excited About Next Season?

It's a thread like this that makes you realise what an incredible position we're in. It's Ferguson and Enciso for me. I feel like last year was their break out season and this will be the one they set the league alight. I reckon Buonnanote will have his break out season this year. Gilmour...
