But seriously, the more countries that actually recognise Palestine as a state, the more pressure is put on Israel to stop the current killing and negotiate a two state solution. I'm sure that's what every sensible person wants but can't be achieved all the time it is...
I don't think we have to work with the UN or America in order for the UK to recognise the Palestinian state. Spain, Ireland, Norway and 140 odd others haven't :shrug:
This election was fought on these rules, no point moaning about the result now, however.
