I feel like Brighton could easily become a stepping stone club in a similar way to Genk - players know that if they're successful at your club, they can get the move to a bigger league. I would like to think that players will see Brighton as a club to join as a means of proving their talent in a...
I don't disagree with any of that - he is exciting, he's that sort of player. But so was LuaLua. Knockaert, to a certain extent, was the upgrade on LuaLua that we needed to progress the team. I don't think the final product has been good enough, which is why I would take the money from Fulham...
I haven't been anything like as critical of Knockaert (note the spelling, how long has he been here for?) as people have been of Jahanbakhsh. And there's a big difference between the two in terms of the team being set up to benefit one at the expense of the other, and fans choosing to overlook...
We sold Knockaert,
Anthony Knockaert,
I just don't think you understand.
They offered 15 mill
And we said, "****ING BRILL!!!"
We sold Anthony Knockaert

Despite the hyperbolic title of this video, it's a reasonable compilation of the encouraging signs I see from Ali J. He's smarter than Simster thinks, I'm surprised his football brain is being questioned. I see real encouragement in the video...
What's the most interesting is that we're together on this issue, but polar opposites about Glenn Murray.
And yet, zero insults! Amazing, how do we manage it...
It's ok, this thread will be this season's, "Charlton's going to be terrible".
All these definitive opinions flying around about how terrible Jahanbakhsh is, there's going to be so much humble pie to be eaten but I don't think the majority of the knockers will even re-appear in this...
I like that it's fully on grass, I'm planning on getting down there next weekend. I didn't run it, I was too late to start - I would have done if I knew the course properly, but I've not done it yet so I didn't get involved. It was an odd experience watching a parkrun rather than competing. You...
Well, I am annoyed with myself today. I got up nice and early, got out to Peacehaven with about 20 minutes to spare but there's a festival on, so the parkrun is cancelled. Usually, all the other parkrun locally share the posts on Facebook, etc, so everyone knows but I missed it. Didn't think to...
I binned work an hour early to get out and watch the full match, I think Rafa Nadal is very close to retiring. He still plays some amazing points, clearly - but physically he looked drained from the third set, which is massively unlike him and I get the sense he's closer to retirement than...
£15million, deal done. He's a Championship player in my opinion, but a bloody good one. He's the ideal signing for teams wanting to get promoted and I'd imagine he'd much better enjoy being the main man in the Championship again.
I like it, it's got a small climb but nothing major and fairly quick. I've done it twice and both in sub-20 times (although the first time, I was 10 minutes late!).
... and that's me off the podium then. Good hustle, fella!
I have just signed up for 2 events; Trailblazer 10k and Lunar-Tic Marathon. It's time to get right back into training now I'm freely walking again. :lolol:
I'm going to be attacking a parkrun this weekend for a sub-20 attempt, I'm thinking about Worthing or Peacehaven. But it is Hove...
He's a very good young player and better than both Knockaert and March in my opinion. 3 goals and maybe a dozen assists between them in the Premier League last season isn't good enough, ultimately. We would need to move on a winger though.
It's perfectly justifiable, to be fair. We have been rubbish for the majority of the last year, but I'm choosing to think the players are perfectly good enough at this level and it was the coaching that was the problem. This season will tell us fairly soon, we have a favourable start, on paper...
