Saw the 7 at Chester. Also remember being at the 4-3 at Cambridge back in the early 80s, last minute winner from Graham Pearce. Also scoring 4 at Millwall the same day Sussex won the Gillette Cup!

Scrolled through all pages and...eventually...my three nominations have been mentioned!
Paul 'Tank' Clark ("Clark is eeeevil")
Tony 'Tiger' Towner
Kerry 'the Ginger Prince' Mayo
I thought Martin Perry was staying on to lead on the hotel development? In which case it's the same lead person our side.
Perhaps B&HCC have got a new posho planner from LDC who wants a bit of revenge!
I think the club have 2 choices -
(a) conduct transfer negotiations quietly
(b) try and sign players from S/C America.
The two options would appear from recent evidence to be mutually exclusive.
For me, as an exiled Sussex Man, it has to be 'The South Country' by Hilaire Belloc. The last 2-3 verses in particular get me every time.

That are sodden and unkind,

He certainly was. Was relieved when he was subbed. Right footed, but played on left and invariably cut inside. Couldn't handle him first half. More difficult to see in second half but I got impression at times we were putting 2 on him to stop him doing this.
Can't agree with this. No time to get his angle right for 1st goal with Kayal giving ball away just outside the box, and 2nd goal was just a perfectly placed header, whether it was climbing or not.
Stockdale - 8 Agree with MoM. Does seem much more solid than last season
Bruno - 7 Another one who I think is doing better than last season, almost up to standard when we first bought him.
Greer - 7 Better of the 2 central defenders today
Uwe - 5 Thought he struggled at times today. Gave ball...
Agree with this. I thought he was doing some leg stretches (hamstrings?) in the couple of minutes before he was subbed and looked a bit stiff as he walked off. Never expected him to last 90; but as others have said, another 10 would have helped immensely.
