With all players back fit, and even if NO new signings are made, I'd still fancy us to be ok next season. A couple of decent additions and a top 10 position is possible.
Still plenty of time to get this next appointment right - whoever it is.
New season is still just over 10 weeks away and with lots of people away on their holly bobs we still have time to do due diligence on TB's preferred candidate.
I agree I think this summer's window might indeed 'pass us by' but I'm still confident that we have sufficient depth to compete next season even without any new additions. Maybe more in the pot to spend the following summer if that's the case. One wonders whether things are not so rosy as we...
Doubt it, although I'm not expecting us to be in the top half come the end of the season. We'll drop one day but don't think it will be next season, unless they really cock up on the managerial appointment.
Probably because he is not the clubs 1st choice - same with Cooper. If both of these candidates were high up on Tony's list I'm sure one would be in by now.
Seems to me like another curve ball is coming which none of us will expect.
The odd lady for the women's team and possibly a couple of gems for the future as per normal. When the manager is appointed in a month or two then we'll probably make a push for 1st team ready players around the start of the season.
Maybe, but the season only finished a couple of weeks ago. I'm not expecting an appointment until early July and would prefer they take their time in getting the right appointment.
If you can afford it, you could have a private carer come in a couple of times a day (I do for my dad) to assist with basic tasks, maybe dressing, getting ready for bed, dinner? We use Alina in Worthing/Lancing area who have been really good just supporting my dad.
Yes, it can add up a bit, but...
I still think they may go for Rob Edwards if we don't go for a foreign coach.
Young, has some experience in the Prem, comes across well - to me he would fit the TB mold (if there is such a thing).
Who's to say Potter even wants to come back to us?
He's reportedly turned down Ajax and one or two other jobs in the last year - what in the hope of rejoining us?
Plus if we really wanted him surely we would have had this sorted by now with him being a free agent.
I'm expecting somebody else.
Bad fan but I can take it or leave it. I do enjoy matches (now largely non-league) but I have more going on in my life than football being THAT important.
If I'm away, at a gig, away on holiday, or out with friends then I am happy to miss the footy. There is more to life for me.
