Take away the fight for a Falmer, the struggle to hold on to decent players/managers*and the lingering concern about going bust, the Withdean years were a helluva lot of fun.
I'll always remember Cullip's bullet header vs Cheaterfield to win Div 3. That also happened to be my last match as a...
I wonder which of our 'keepers is the most miffed...
Ryan for being dropped for Spurs.
Steele for not getting a game at Spurs while Ryan was "rested".
Sanchez for being dropped from the entire squad for tonight after doing alright at Spurs.
I commented on the Lewes thread to say they would be my non-league team of choice, that's all. I see that as no different to having an NFL team to follow or a rugby club. It's different worlds entirely.
I am and always will be an Albion fan. I'm born and bred in Brighton and Albion are my team...
If I HAD to pick a local non-league side to support, it would be Lewes FC. Met my missus in Lewes, worked there, love the club's ethos and - given that I grew up in Moulsecoomb - I can't bring myself to support Whitehawk.

That game when Matty Edwards shut his eyes and headed a goal...
Recently restored an old ghetto blaster for some retro tunes in the shed. On the look out for decent tapes but all I ever seem to find is Val Doonican and Max Bygraves. Never Beastie Boys, Bowie or ...ahem... Now That's What I Call Music 4.
As much as I want him to stay, if Dunk has any want at all to play for a big club one day I think he and the club should take the opportunity now.
The guy is a and will always be an Albion legend but this is one area of the pitch we have decent cover for as well as real potential coming through.
I don't know why some take such delight in seeing a player who did well for us struggle. From what I understand he left us for family reasons. Some things are more important than football, more important even than BHAFC.
