I was checking out their fans thoughts and most of them seem quite pessimistic. I'm not so sure. We are still finding our feet really under a new coach. And while we do have some weapons of mass destruction, I don't think we can take anything for granted.
I think teams that come up with a way...
No, not like that one. I was talking about Pedro's propensity to do little attempted 1-2 flick passes in the early part of last season in the middle of the field when simple passes were on. Inevitably breaking down good attacks. Thankfully he uses them more sparingly and wisely these days.
Think he might want more experience in midfield and consider ferdi there for this one. But excited about the kids. Would have Hinshelwood for Velts. Pervis at LB if fit. And I love Wellbz but I do wonder if at some point this season when Gruda and Enciso are firing, one of them might start with...
100%. my god those flicks aaarrgggh. He was the ruiner of promising belreaks for a while and one of my most frustrating players. Fair play to him though. He became welbz-ified in his hold up play and decision making as the season progressed and moved into the real deal category and ended up...
I love Julio. Every time I see him coming on my spirits rise and he makes things happen. plays on his tiptoes and tries to take things forward. Looking forward to see him properly get into a rythm this season.
Suppose it depends what productive means too. I'd say bringing through a 1st team talent regularly is very productive but doesn't get recognised as profitable (unless the are reverse engineering profit for not having to but a lewis Dunk or solly march, or (hopefully) Jack Hinch).
Not sure how...
He seemed to be asked to move around a lot and play the Wellbeck role under RDZ. Was good at it in the game (s?) Against Liverpool in 22/ 23 but he really shows you how good Wellbeck is at it.
I had a really confusing conversation with a flat earther and his sole rationale for believing it was that he insisted all pictures of the earth were made up of composites of pictures of the earth. Ie digital recreations of seperate images not one singular picture.
We seemed to diverge off onto...
Quite disturbing to see how some people have developed their technique, and don't have the wherewithal to look around and see what everyone else thinks is normal.
One of the lads near me looked like he was dealing cards.
