£25 for me this month, and £50 for Mrs Peteinblack (we both have the maximum holdings). Both a little disappointed TBH, although we obviously realise that we should be grateful for any win, and that our 'meagre' winnings this month would still be a small fortune to people living in poverty. So...

I'm expecting us to lose tomorrow, sadly, given that we have so many 'regular' players injured, and Captain Dunk is banned for two games.

With our injuries and suspensions, I've gone for a Scrooge-like 5 points - 1 x win and 2 x draws. We'll be mid-table by New Year, although I hope we'll recover from January as some of our injured players return, and we might make one or two signings to strengthen our depleted squad.

How tragically apposite that the last track on their last album was called 'Into The Unknown', and is, I think, one of their best tracks/riffs.

Jeez, I'm genuinely shocked and saddened. One of my fave guitarists. Totally original sound, a Master of sludgy riffs, often with sinister or doomy apocalyptic sound; criminally underrated.

Just finished Peter James' Dead Man's Footsteps - No. 4 in the Roy Grace detective series set in Brighton (the TV series features the brilliant John Simm as Grace). Have now started Matthew Kneale's Sweet Thames - his English Passengers being one of my favourite books.
