I suspect I may have some, a badger has ripped up a few square feet of lawn. Probably equally effective as Nematodes but doesn't leave such a nice finish
This has been a long standing conversation amongst a certain group of my friends (two of whom have sadly had them played  )
For me, going in
Middle bit
As curtains close
Not for the words but simply because it's the best camp pop song ever, after those first two
If he's a grifter, he's not a very good one. He gave up a job with a salary of over £250K for being the best in a highly competitive industry for a decade being paid 77K as an MP. He's paid for a season ticket at Arsenal for years, and Arsenal have now said 'since you're PM security will be far...
Pedantry point. I believe most people are furious about where the WFA cut off point has been drawn. I would suggest that a significant number (possibly even majority) don't disagree with a WFA cut, but it's how the limits of the cut are implemented protecting those that genuinely need it that is...
In 2012 and 2014 Danny came 2nd in England's player of the year to Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. Always been top class, just not always recognised as such
Being anti Johnson, Truss and Sunak (or just not defending them) is NOT being anti Tory
A certain mod was highly critical of Johnson, Truss and Sunak and is a fair, balanced and mature conservative party member, although unsurprisingly absent from this particular thread.
As I've said all along the WFA needs to be focused, but the cut off is too low and that is a bad mistake. As you've already said, I certainly hope they amend this to something higher in the actual budget and, if they don't, that is a huge mistake.
But if that happens, Sue Gray is still in post...
Whilst the vast majority of people believe something should be done about WFA, I don't think I've seen anyone say the current 'receipt of benefits' cut off is right. Two reasonable suggestions I have seen are to also include any pensioners who are in council tax bands A&B or, give it to any...
Someone in the British Civil service did a lot of work, including very long hours to arrange an International Conference on Ukraine. The Ukraine government invited them to the embassy for dinner in order to thank them.
Should they have turned it down and risked offending the Ukrainian...
On wednesday, when this story broke, it was all about 'Sue Gray earns more than the Prime Minister'. So I pointed out that salaries higher than the PM aren't unusual at senior levels of Government and 200+ Civil Servants earn more than the PM (I could have said Political journalists, lobbyists...
Have I got that round the wrong way ? I'm worried senility may be setting in
But I know the supermarkets have stopped selling it (asda never did and sainsbury have stopped)
I buy supermarket fuel for our cars all the time and have no problem. There's no doubt that it is priced by area hence why Asda and Sainsbury's in Goring and Worthing are so much cheaper than Benfield Valley and Hollingbury (and don't get me started on Asda Royston, just outside Glasgow )...
