We have had 14 players who have missed 6 or more games in a row through injury, out of a squad of 25. We have had 7 who have missed over a quarter of the season or more.
We recruited poorly in the summer and woefully in January.
We are now at the point where if plan a fails (and it does...
My family got some jovial banter from those who sit near us to say that for the Arsenal game (when we were away) all 5 tickets were taken by away fans. Would have been bought by a season ticket holder for guests I suspect
So we have
martinez (boo) ,
Watkins (boo too)
followed by chelsea (boooooooo)
with special boos for cucerella , caicedo and sanchez (triple boo)
then finally utd (you've seen the albion now f*** off home boo) with additional mentions for Fernandes(boo) and Antony (boo boo and thrice boo)...
I have missed the last 5 albion games (4 because of holiday and last night due to back issues)
It's allowed me to see our games through the eyes of tv for some and maybe more dispassionately
From an officials perspective I do have some sympathy with forest but they're going about it...
Interesting that we have only lost 11 and 7 of those are to teams in the European spaces this season, with 2 more against teams 8th and 9th.
Only really poor part of that is not winning at least 1 game against Everton, Burnley or Fulham.
When you look at that list and add the mid season injuries (fati injured just when getting into form, enciso, mitoma and adingra, webster, pedro, lallana all missing large chunks and the Dunk being a walking casualty) it's a wonder we were even talking of europe until last night.
And don't forget redknapp commented on handball by walker in lead up to 4th then Clichy goes further and says his slide into steele for the loose ball was dangerous play.
Only pen appeal barely commented on was the handball and even then Smith says 'it clearly hits his wrist'
Fwiw I wouldn't...
So my slipped disc has meant I have missed this. But in an attempt to reduce the man city fans in the east lower (and deprive the half and half scarf seller of income) I didnt put my ticket up for sale.
I'm 50/50. Managed to get a slipped disc so depending on how the meds and other measures cut in I am doubtful.
My daughter is mascot at Bournemouth so that's my priority
Taylor has lost it since he was confronted by Roma fans and publicly slated by Mourinho. This season has seen him as thin skinned and over reacting to matters (note I am not defending Dunk here)
As for Attwell and Coote. Words fail me too
I do think Oliver is a sound choice
So, correct me if I am wrong, but he hasn't committed any criminal offence? What he did may repulse some people, and may upset others but it wasn't illegal. Also I don't think anybody accused him of abusing his position?
In which case it is terribly sad that his career has ended this way with...
We both know that he wasn't unsafe but by his actions and confrontational manner he could have caused an unsafe situation.
You have seen the full 13min video haven't you?
