Could just be on their way back from holiday. I remember the 1973 Gillette Cup Final, when we were plays Gloucs. We were driving back to Sussex and, because we had no car radio, we stopped off a few times on the way back so we could have a look at TV shops to catch the score. Sometimes, things...
When I graduated, no-one on our course got a 1st (only two the previous year and one the year before that). A friend of mine at another uni got a 1st and said that they were handing them out like free gifts in cereal packets that year as four people got one.
It should also be noted that only...
Yeah, that's how O and A Levels worked back in the day. In theory, it was possible to get 85% and fail in one subject and get 60% and snag an A in another (obviously this didn't happen, but it was certainly true that the pass mark could shift year to year or by subject to subject). So, if you...
It works for the Telegraph but, interestingly, that way doesn't work for the Times - they must have found some way to block that. I had to use an alternative method yesterday
I'd say there are very few supporters who live in Hampshire, so, yes the vast majority of the the fans live in Sussex. I'm sure the club did a survey a few years back and found most supporters lived within (I think) 10 miles of the Amex.
I think a social would be a great idea. We had a few back in the day (I remember one was on my birthday and I couldn't stay long). But no Meat Up though, a Veggie Up would be better :lolol:
No, not all are from B&H but most are. And where else? Mid-Sussex, Lewes, Eastbourne - all Lib Dem, or Worthing with two Labour MPs. As I said, the slightly left of centre nature of NSC reflects the fan base
I'd also dispute that its politics aren't aligned with the average Albion supporter. We're a city with two Labour and one Green MP, I'd agree that left of centre views are probably slightly more popular on NSC but I'd say that's pretty representative of the fan-base. But it's also fairly...
And he was accurate about Fab and about Pascal going to Dortmund.
Alex Crook also tweeted about Gruda coming here too and he's not normally a rumour merchant
The way we vote in mayoral elections was changed in 2022. It used to be the Supplementary Voting System, it's now FPTP, the same as parliamentary elections.
The other factor here is that the non-voters are mainly young (who tend to be further left). So, if voting was compulsory, the chances are that Khan would have had a bigger majority.
The only time I've ever seen him outside an Albion stadium was many years ago, at the pub in Patcham (the Black Horse?). I'd been playing cricket at Patcham Place and Des was in tennis gear with a young woman. He must have been in his 50s then but looked amazingly fit - certainly fitter than...
Far from being out of control, there's been a massive decline in violent crime over the last 20 years - and a decline over the last century. The UK is a safer, less violent place than it's ever been.
According to the Crime Survey for England and Wales, there were 894k violent crime offences in...
