[Help] Logs for open fire/wood burner

We get quite a lot of free ones that we over summer in the sun - and things from skips, too. But we still buy some kiln-dried ones to get things properly going.

[Help] Logs for open fire/wood burner

I'm pretty sure we don't save money with our stove, but it makes the room a lot more pleasant than just radiators. I've just ordered logs for it for delivery in December.

[Football] What Is The First Division/Premier League Of Your Lifetime ?

I know what you mean - but then there is the problem of equalising out the leagues. Here's someone's attempt: http://alltimeleaguetable.co.uk/

[Football] What Is The First Division/Premier League Of Your Lifetime ?

Very much a late 1970s/early 1980s bias there.

    [Albion] Catering

Right in the middle, more or less opposite "The Dugout".

[Albion] "you've seen thee albion, now feck off home"

Especially as an ambulance will probably take you to hospital rather than act as a taxi service.

    [Albion] Catering

Anyone used the West Stand Tap? The place where they guess what you’ve bought by watching you on avatar camera… And does it have the Amex discount? I wanted to check that worked before trying it out this Sunday.

[Albion] Anyone tried 'The Dugout' seats yet???

The Dugout is really West Stand Plus. The Tunnel Club is comparable to the best lounges.

[Music] Johnny Marr claims The Smiths trademark?!

I like the music they both have made - and make - but I wouldn't see either live or go to them for their political views or legal positions. The Smiths were great, but it's better they don't reform for any cash-driven tour.

    [News] Middle East conflict

Impressive work. Must have taken a lot of planning and building of trust (didn't the terrorists investigate a single one?).

[Misc] Does WFH (working from home) reduce productivity?

I like it for a few days. You can concentrate on work that involves fewer meetings and get stuff done. But after around five days in a row at home I start to lose motivation, work less well, and pay less attention to it. I much prefer a hybrid form of working, with three days a week in the...

[Football] Road to World Cup 2026 - Official Thread

I thought the situation with Ben White this time was that the new England manager didn't contact him or ask - just assumed he still wasn't available. And BW for his part didn't do anything either. Maybe if one of the parties tries to talk to the other, then something might change. But if they...

    Tallinn , Estonia

I'd love to go back, but also think I wouldn't recognise the place. Here it is in 1991.

    [Albion] Newcastle Away?

Promised we’d go for the weekend to this one. Can’t go this weekend. Oh well, hopefully next year.

    Tallinn , Estonia

I went soon after independence in ‘91: Quite soviet, liked hard currency, positive atmosphere, nice autumn leaves, didn’t investigate the women that much. The prisons then were probably a little harsher than today. It had changed a lot when I went back in ‘95. Suspect different again now.

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

More interesting, I think, would be the team that has occupied most different places at the end of the season. We've never been in the top five of the top division, for example, while Arsenal haven't been in any places in the third division. But which team has managed to fill most final season...
