Funny you mention solar . . . . It amazes me that cars don't have a solar panel on the roof, common to be fitted to motorhomes . . . . But most cars have a roof ad also an incredibly thirsty electrical system. . . .it would possibly be enough to keep thre car topped up and healthy when parked up.

Mods wore parkas to keep suits clean the most useless garment for riding a scooter over 20 mph, not water or wind proof in that applicatrion. Same goes for trench coats and crombies. Flight jackets little better, but we all wore them at least once. I'm rather fond of this as an over layer.
