That's been the way for years. Worzel Gummidge's Blackpool had lots of plaudits as they took the game to teams like Man U, causing lots of problems, but like many others, they got relegated trying to play attacking football after promotion. It's a big step up.

Aren't these two posts at odds with each other? If we have a clear best starting 11, then it's our squad depth that's the issue, but if we have 2 or 3 best 11s, then surely we've got some good depth?

I had the entire game recorded and was planning to watch it this morning, but it's gone. No one would have deleted it on purpose and it's not in my deleted files. I don't think I can get it back.

Although it's true we did struggle, we also had a manager who seemed to have given up, and we did recruit a lot over the summer, so we're in a better position to deal with injuries than we were last season.
