I hope you're right. I disagree. Those lands would be difficult to govern if they kept the citizens alive, but they can kill them/send them packing etc. The populace also seem very susceptible to propaganda. I don't think it would be a problem for Russia. They must not be allowed to keep the land.

Have the weapons been sold to Ukraine, or donated? Even if they are sold, it's ok to agree to sell with restrictions, you don't have to buy them. If you then decide to ignore the restrictions, that's fine, but don't necessarily expect them to sell you more.
