[Albion] Away fans in home ends

I agree with that it shouldn’t mean people miss out with smaller allocations, but in terms of can’t cope, no one in the area I was in could get a song going, I don’t want an away end filled with opposition, let alone it being a few, it’s a large group. We don’t want a Rugby atmosphere.

Yeah I had a word with the Brighton stewards, just said it’s getting ridiculous here, and they agreed, said to email supporter services, which I will do.

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

I noticed a lot of people who I wouldn’t usually see at away games, which is fine, some Brighton fans who can’t usually get away tickets managed to go that’s really good, it’s just a massive shame that they’ve essentially got pushed down the list because some people have passed on tickets. On...

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

Plenty of Liverpool fans in the away end today, 20 or so refused entry for wearing colours. No other club has the arrogance to get In the away end, gets worse every year, to the point where I just can’t be arsed to be surrounded by top southern reds, so I won’t bother next year (I will). Train...

I was at this gig, really enjoyed it, especially the hardcore section halfway through

No it wouldn't to be honest, also you wouldn‘t be able to turn it around really beyond Lewes as you’d block the line in the 8 minutes change end allowance, therefore reducing the frequency.

That does indeed become a problem, but its not impossible to do, they have done it for multiple games before, it shouldn't have been an obstacle.

Spot on, its naivety, just no need to do it. ALSO, in my opinion, poor parenting letting them pick Liverpool.

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

The cost of that would probably be prohibitively expensive in all honesty, but also the issue would be the train would have nowhere to go really after Falmer, you'd have to run it to Eastbourne, stable it and then turn it around hours later. As well, there is already 6 trains an hour on the...

Having a different operator, with exactly the same constraints isn’t going to change anything, except the colour and the logo of the train.

I agree there is a lot of passing the buck, every group has a solution, they just can’t get approval off the others which isn’t ideal. The general rolling stock order will take years to fulfill, there isn’t a short term solution. The rolling stock issue is the key to unlocking it all, but that...

I'd reccomend Real Time Trains and Traksy for that.

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

I think it's in the interest of all to keep the levy, I don't think Saturdays and Sundays are bad at all (shoot me!) but the midweeks are crazy. I stayed for almost an hour to have a pint yesterday and there was still a queue, there was a points failure at Brighton which didn't help, and a lack...

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

The 7:30 KO doesn't help, it squeezes the number of trains available to get to the stadium on time. Palace have it mandated that their games kick off at 8, why can't we have the same?

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

Service was reduced, and taken under government control basically, which wasn't a massive change in GTRs contract, but companies had more of emphasis to pay back money loaned during lockdown to keep service running when there were minimal passengers. Cost savings were looked at and while there...

Or alternatively they shouldn't have scrapped 46 units without replacement.

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

Last night was a complete shambles, but post lockdown the lack of available rolling stock in the entire country is the problem. Nobody within this entire country seems interested in trying to solve it, its not just a matchday issue, but like I said no one is interested in improving...
