That people were being attacked on the street based on their ethnicity, however that people have targeted the event, which its important to realise is because Maccabi ultras are some of the most racist supporters in Israel (barring maybe Beitar Jerusalem), I'm just a little sceptical because I'm...
You raise a valid point to be fair, but personally I see this as two groups of fascists (Maccabi Ultras and whoever the attackers were) having a scrap, and as a result a lot of innocent Maccabi fans not related to their ultras have got caught up in it, and those fascists have decided to pick on...
There is once again context to that situation that @Ali_rrr explained multiple times, but of course like all your posts on this subject you are just going to tell everyone why they should be ashamed of themselves and how we're all so awful, laughing at any point anyone makes.
Violence happened in a similar way when they played Olympiacos or Panathanikos in the conference league last year, I didn't see rescue planes etc, Netanyahu has used this ONCE AGAIN as time to flex his muscles.
I agree which is why IMO, I think the media and politicians jumping on it using terms like 'pogrom' etc, is not really needed until we get a clearer context.
What about believing both! It seems to me Maccabi fans attacked a taxi, the driver being pissed off with this likely told his mates, who then colluded with the attackers, it doesn't make one side right and one side wrong, no one comes out of this looking particularly good.
It does seem a massive failing of the Dutch police force, a lot of games involving Israeli sides have been played behind closed doors. People have come all over the Netherlands to cause trouble, and at the same time, Maccabi Tel Aviv Ultras turned up acting like complete helmets, just a mess of...
With all respect, people did get a kicking for simply being/looking English on our European tour (they put you in jail for that now), but it wasn't reported as such. Theres a lot of context here, with all respect having a bit of knowledge of Israeli Ultras and their Ultras movement, while it...
I don't think anyone is debating that, but I'm pretty sure if we went to Poland, during the Iraq War, started singing about how there are no more schools in Iraq because there are no more children, then if any local Iraqis were about I don't think they'd take it too kindly no? Could this...
Theres also a video of Maccabi Ultras attacking a taxi and burning Palestine Flags, as well as chanting racist songs about Arabs. I do genuinely feel for the innocent Maccabi Fans who got caught up, but their ultras have behaved equally appallingly.
Plenty of violence last year in Athens when Maccabi Ultras attacked and targeted Arabs, if innocent fans are getting caught up that is sad, but Maccabi Ultras are far from an innocent party here, see that takes a bit of nuance which I understand is difficult for some.
