I suppose it begs the question why it wasn't marketed more aggressively then. Free weekend and a Saturday fixture - plenty in their favour.
I'd agree on the Arsenal game switch as they have excellent attendances with the Ashburton Army and numbers would be significantly higher.
But other than...
Firstly, an excellent win for Albion Women today. It was the sort of close game that they would've lost last year. They've clearly made improvements.
West Ham will probably feel like they could've taken a point having hit the bar and somehow contrived to sky one over the bar from 2 yards out...
Exactly, Pav. It's a combination of self-delusion and/or cowardice why Labour are saying 'no' to the Customs Union at the very least.
The only voters Labour would 'lose' are the ones that didn't and wouldn't vote for them anyway. And then there are those confirmed centrists like me who'd...
In other NL results, France could only draw 0-0 at home to Israel, currently 81st FIFA ranked.
70% possession, 24 shots, 8 of them on target, 0 goals. France had won 3 of the 4 NL games before tonight, Israel had lost all 4.
So as poor as last month's loss to Greece was, even good sides can...
Completely agree.
For the ones who weren't seriously crocked but ruled themselves out, they need to prove they're more hungry than their replacements. And if I was Tuchel, what an opportunity to set the issue straight right from the start by excluding a few of those that unnecessarily dropped...
He's a versatile player and has played in a number of positions, but also scored on the right twice for England.
"Foden's versatility is once again a feature of his England career, with the midfielder being selected in no less than five positions. He made his international debut as a teenager...
Apart from this particular day when Brighton weren't playing, I'm sure. And possibly Sunday too. (Ok, I know what you're saying.)
Don't worry, I'm happy to be in a minority here.
After tonight's thumping victory, a few of them might be privately regretting their decisions.
Foden needn't think about hurrying back. Noni Madueke showed more threat in one half of football for England than Foden's offered in recent memory.
And they did. Solid professional performance from start to finish. Took most of their chances and great games from Madueke and Jones.
Really looking forward to Wembley now on Sunday. A win and we're back among the big teams again in 2 years time.
Decent 1st half from England considering everything. Dominating possession (66%) and chances. Madueke's having a great game.
Bellingham's not likely to be subbed, so perhaps at some point Angel Gomes will replace Gallagher who's a mistimed tackle away from a red.
More crazy play by Pickford - no need to test the referee's patience. Another unnecessary yellow card.
Decent stop at the near post though to make amends of sorts.
