I'll regularly sit on my own in a coffee shop while my wife is shopping, and browse my iPad, or watch some sport - always with no sound. Any place that somehow thought that was a problem to anyone, can get f***ed.

We actually achieved the Rome travel adventure by being inventive, for under £200 return. (Southampton to Pisa was £19, and Pisa to Birmingham not much more)

Back from Rome, via Pisa and Birmingham = train / shuttle train / flight / train / bus

I find it less believable that they never use the iPlayer, never listen to Radio 1, or 5 live, or Radio 6, never listen to a BBC podcast, and never visit the BBC website.
