It's a shirt. Sits very much in the middle of our 'range' for me. Not the worst but we've had plenty better. Then again, I didn't mind last years yet most people seem to think it was a bit shit.
I'd prefer it if blue was the predominant colour and I still don't understand the need for random...
Apologies for the slow reply, my internet went missing. I had to watch the final at 4.a.m on my phone.
Yeah, I think agreeing to disagree is the best course of action. Especially with last night being what I'm sure was Southgates last game. Regardless of the F.A's wishes I just can't see...
Lost to the best team on the day and the best team of the tournament.
I was really impressed with Spain on and off the ball. They looked a complete team.
I'm going to start by repeating my final paragraph of my last post because that is as succinct as I can get my view across:
No one has ever claimed he's an elite manager. No one has ever claimed he's a tactical genius. He's just worked out how to get England further in tournaments than pretty...
Your last paragraph is essentially the reason I've written so many posts in defence of Southgate, just in reverse. Where criticism is due, praise can also be fairly applied.
Unfortunately it so rarely is. And when it is it's nearly always caveated and damning with faint praise(all of which...
Columbia in the last 16 of wc2018. We also beatvswitzerland in a pk shoot out in the nation's league but I'm not sure that counts ss a proper tournament. So we've won 2 out of three or 3 out of 4 under him. Bearing in mind we won 1 out 7 before him that's still an impressive record imo. He's...
What I find really strange is how many people are unwilling to give Southgate the respect he deserves or any credit at all.
No one is claiming or has ever claimed that he is a tactical genius or revolutionary.
However, he is the second most successful manager in England's history, and if he...
Not only was that our best performance of this tournament I think it was our best semi final performance under Southgate. Hopefully that bodes well for the final.
Personally it worries me how much he's played this season. 38 times for barca and every game in the Euros, presumably at least some of the international games during the season too.
That's a heavy workload for a 16 year old and runs serious risk of injury and stunting his development/career...
I'm with HT on this one. I also grew up in the 80s and 90s and the great swarms of foreign students with their EF rucksacks is one of my strong memories of the time. We even used to play some of them in 'international' football matches down the park.*
It's something I've always liked about...
Presumably as an act of contrition. Taking the cost of looking after the trophy off of UEFA's hands might not be enough to placate them after those horrific scenes of unimaginable violence.
That's some of the worst violence I have EVER seen. Both countries should be immediately chucked out of the tournament.
What's that? The Germans have already chucked themselves out? Very decent of them. If the English have any moral fibre they should do the same sometime in the next seven...
I think in ET we were playing with Eze as a left wing back and Shaw as the centre back. By that point we had Eze, Saka, Bellingham, Foden, Palmer and Toney on the pitch, I'm not sure we had any defensive shape left!
