Well done Lando!
That was a pleasant surprise to wake up to. Doubly so as it was a deserved win. Yes he got a bit of luck with the safety car but he won with pace and skill.
Lets hope that we can have a few more races with a bit of jeopardy for Max. Maybe even having him finish...
Seems Emery didn't remind them.
Much better performance by the Albion. Deserved win.
Am I right in thinking that if we get 5 more points from our next three games we'll get our second highest points total?
Say it quietly but if Villa play the second half as passively and low in intensity as they have the first we might, just might, sneak a goalless draw. Heady stuff after the last month.
Presumably though Emery will remind his team that they're trying to qualify for the top 4 and to do that they...
True. They've done the same with dezerbi, linked him to loads of jobs and then said a few weeks later that he's not on those clubs lists.
My point was more that they described us as a big job. Us, a big job! In the premier league!
There's an article in the guardian about McKenna committing to Ipswich for next season.
I mention it purely because it also states he has been linked to big jobs like west ham and Brighton.
We're a big job!
Hell of an achievement by Ipswich. Who was the last team to go back to back promotions to the premier league? Southampton and Norwich both did it 10+ years or so ago didn't they?
i read that Leeds will finish as the third placed team with the highest points total in history if they don't get automatic today. They're currently joint top of that stat league wth 90(our 89 from 15/16 is 2nd) because they're losing to southampton. That gives southampton 87 points...that's...
I don't get the hate for foden? What's he done wrong?
Of current players Gordon, Richardson, Bruno Fernandez and Antony are the ones that come immediately to mind but a lot of that is based off of how they look. They look snide.
However I saw an interview with Gordon and he came across...
He's had season in the championship, if he goes on loan again I think it would be beneficial if he went to a top European league to get top flight experience and the pressure/exposure that comes with it.
It's difficult isn't it?
We can't have a yes man but if we get anyone who even hints that he might pause before saying yes a lot of people go into meltdown.
What we need is a yes man who rocks the boat. Some kind of managerial double think.
I disagree. I think they are the absolute fundametals that every player regardless of level should bring to the table.
Lack of cohesion, tactics etc absolutely put at the door of the manager. Can't be arsed to run or get knocked off the ball by a slight breeze, lazy passing, poor decision...
I know everyone likes putting the boot into RDZ at the moment but the players need to have a long hard look at themsleves.
There are some things that are entirely on them:
Effort
Decision making
Quality on the ball
All three have been really poor from the team. Two or three have at least...
I'm disappointed in Bournemouth. We've been poor/on the beach for weeks so I was hoping they'd bring the entertainment but it seems they're going through the motions too. Can we shake on the result at half time and call it a day?
Bugger that. Connolly and Ferguson both scored on their full premier league debuts. O'Mahoney ticks all the boxes for a sensational start to his career. Teenager? Yep. Irish? Yep. Scores for fun in the reserves/U 21s? Yep.
I will be FUMING if O'Mahoney doesn't get at least one goal...
