I very often agree with your analysis of football, but think you're wildly off track on Wharton. He's some player which is why he got called up for the Euros, and is better than Scott. Rogers has seized the mantle and looks a great player, and we all know about JP.
Did a similar journey in 2008 and the engine blew out just before getting to Calais on the return leg, so check the oil en route. Beyond that, do it, driving to the continent is fine, much cheaper than hiring a car, and gives you lots of opportunities.
Agree with the first bit, and wish you're right about the last throw of the dice, but can't see it. I'm not following the war closely, but Russia continues to push the Ukrainian lines back, they've had a good year on the military front. Their economy has held up much better than was predicted...
I appreciate you're presenting a particular sort of argument -- a steel man -- and have seen (at least) some of your subsequent contributions, but disagree with this.
I do agree with the bolded bits, but think you're being a tad conspiratorial about Cheney's motivations. He's not doing it for...
Yes, seems like the condition of play continuing was that England needed to bowl spin. I was there on Friday. The umpires wanted to take the players off at the earliest opportunity. No idea it took them half an hour to come back on for that delayed afternoon session.
Test cricket really doesn't...
It's almost as if 'the mother, who asked not to be named' and provides such an important story in The Telegraph is of the view that she deserves special treatment.
Forecast deteriorated since I posted this. Might not get any play in the morning, and the rain could continue into the afternoon, see:

To add: a couple of days ago, it was indicating...
Well, on a recent Athletic podcast covering the Albion (I listened/watched off youtube; warning, the same advert is repeated about 10x through it), one of the points they made is that our signings in the summer of 2023 targeted European experience -- we had very little going into that summer...
I've read the article and heard TB on Albion Unlimited, and the TB quotations in the article are identical to the responses that he gives to JC on AU, see:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0jj45rl
Suspect someone's done this already, but the content in that article is lifted straight from the interview done by JC on:

I'm going tomorrow. Weather looking a little better than @Eeyore reports, although running at c30% chance of rain in the morning. Afternoon should be fine.
Well played Yasin.
I don't recognise their back five, but the front six look pretty tasty. I can think of at least two posters who will be able to provide more in-depth feedback.
On the Bloom/dullard recent episode of Albion Unlimited, JC made a really good point about the seven teams playing in Europe. Bloom wants as many of them to stay in their competitions as possible not just to boost the coefficient, but also because they've got more games to play in Europe...
