On the subject of getting the official club site and more BHA journos on there, it’s a bit chicken and egg. I imagine that the more of us that sign up and start or interact with (eg like or comment) unofficial BHA related content, the more likely the official accounts and journalists will follow.
BlueSky definitely seems to be gaining some traction, and many of the non-football journalists I follow on X are now posting on there.
X has become a cesspit, but the worst thing for me is the number blue-tick accounts that infest the site now that anyone with £12 a month can buy one...
He’s certainly talented, as shown by the form he had under Potter. He was decent in the 22-23 season as well, but that season for him has been defined by dropping that clanger at Palace.
The reason we were stuffed by Roma was not becuse the Europa QFs were a step to far. It was because De Zerbi only had one way of playing and our form was terrible at the time .
For context we were stuffed by Fulham 5 days before that fixture and were in the middle of that horrible...
That's just off the main road between Albertville and Moutiers, isn't it? Regardless of how many transfers to ski resorts in the Tarentaise that I've done in my life, the signposts to Pussy never failed to cause immature levels of amusement to me and others old enough to know better.
They actually reverted back to that box for the punditry on the Man U game earlier this season. Only reason I remember is that Ferdinand was in there and getting a bit of bantz off the North Stand.
No idea why. It was a TNT sport match, I think. Do Sky have exclusivity on the SE corner studio??
All depends on the clauses in his contract with Chelsea. Can't see them accepting much less than the 30m they paid for him though. None of this fee has amortised yet, so anything less is an instant loss on the 24-25 accounts and they'd probably need to sell another of their training pitches to...
I wonder if he's so unhappy with his game time that he'd be prepared to take a pay cut? I can't see many clubs in the current PSR climate that would be willing to match his Chelsea wages.
I saw on the Palace forums that some of their fans were getting a little bit excited about the fact that interest-free loans will soon count as a related party transaction. However, all this will mean is that they deduct an appropriate amount from our PSR calculation for each season - it won't...
The delusion in this post about them being at a similar level is off the scale. I must’ve missed the season they finished in the top 6, or even spent any amount of time in the top 6. They’ve certainly spent a significant amount time in the bottom 3!
As for us having money thrown at us, someone...
LOLs, but in the Euros, our keeper did get the Dutch to the semis literally single-handedly - the hand with which he made that reflex save against Turkey.
I’ve been convinced since watching their win against Palace that they’re in a false position. It was one of the lowest quality Premier League games I’ve seen.
Of course, combination of rail strikes and national mourning meant rearrangement of those 2. Quite convenient really given that we would've likely been managerless for both.
Not sure you’ve got 22/23 right there. 11 game that season was, coincidentally, the loss at Man City, and if my source is correct we were only on 15 points (in 8th position).
11 games in is a bit of an arbitrary measure, but coming into the international break it’s worth noting that this is our best start in the PL. Given the injuries we’ve had to importabt players and the difficulty of our opening 11 fixtures (we’ve played all of the current top 5 and only 4...
It’s amazing what being given a consistent run of games does for a young keeper’s confidence and sharpness, isn’t it?
The way RDZ rotated Steel and Verbruggen for most of last season did neither keeper any favours. If Massive kept rotating Beadle in and out of their starting 11 we’d recall him...
