Blimey I don't know about "exuberant" but our prices certainly aren't exorbitant...I think my season ticket works out to £23 a match which is pretty good really. Personally I'm very proud of BHAFC; yes we have hit a bad patch after several years of relative success, but hopefully it will be...
Why? We all know Albion sell X number of season tickets, and then they add on thenumber of tickets sold per game to give the total attendance. This is what nearly every club does...so what? You can use your intelligence and look around the stadium and roughly work out how many season ticket...
Well said; I hardly ever bother coming on NSC these days due to all the moaning. Me, I'm looking forward to the Fulham match, love going to the Amex, and will join in the singing rather than moan about a lack of it. When times were good at the Goldstone it was great, but when times were bad it...
Yes it was (sometimes) exciting in the Goldstone North Stand, but often the atmosphere never really got going (have you watched those Norwich highlights?) All seated stadiums are a fact and it is harder to get the singing going, but when it does at the Amex it can be really loud. Were you not...
Some of the posters on here make me laugh...it's as if they believe that the Goldstone was always a cauldron of noise, and they constantly moan about the "soulless" Amex. Yes the North Stand could sometimes crank it up, but watch these highlights of us beating Norwich in 1983; not a patch on...
Yes...well said! I'm not wild about U2, but I do think Bono gets a lot of unfair flack, in the face of which he retains a fair degree of dignity. You are right, perversely if he kept his gob shut on social/moral issues and took drugs and drove cars into swimming pools he would be far more popular.
Yes thanks for the most extreme puerile drivel so far. I presume you are a Chelsea fan given your expertise on Celtic fans at Stamford Bridge...thanks for your valuable insights now sod off to play with your well hard mates in the Shed.
Well said that man...I know several Irish/Scots living in Brighton who wish Albion nothing but the best and get along to the Amex regularly. I hope they don't read the puerile drivel dumped on NSC by most of the posters on here!
If you don't like the pies and think that they are too expensive then don't buy them, and the law of supply and demand will eventually resolve the issue.
If however, you don't like the pies, think they are too expensive, but keep buying them anyway, then you are part of the problem. Personally...
I agree...I have never heard anyone ever ever ever say "oh I must go to White Hart Lane/Emirates/Stamford Bridge because the food and drink is cheap".
I think Albion are doing a decent job of growing the fan-base. It has attracted back the 40 and 50 somethings from the 1970s and 1980s who...
Brighton and Hove is top. I lived away for 10 years (US/Canada/London) but nowhere else has that combination of sea/architecture/pubs/restaurants/good people/shops/cinemas/schools/theatres, and of course there's The Albion.
I don't object to "little al" spending half his life on NSC because he is a Palace fan, but because he just isn't funny. His contributions are so flippin' juvenile and tedious. Can you imagine what he is like in real life?
