The supermarket is built on the Whitehorse end which was always where away fans stood, the home end has always been the Holmesdale. However, in the bad old/good old days there was never much effort made to segregate and the inevitable fights broke out.
They. err, weren't... I know at least half a dozen long term Albion fans who like myself had young kids in the Withdean days and couldn't commit to a season ticket. We pick and chose matches, probably going to about 10 a season. These days we have season tix.
Would seem like an awful lot of trouble for a Palarse troll to go to with no significant punch-line other than he will try to get to the Amex a couple of times a season...
Yeah thanks for that; I tried to present a reasonable review of the situation and you come back with a moronic comment. So I withdraw my previous views and hereby now agree with all those who think that Palarse fans are scrawny Croydon track suit runts.
Well the fact is (as someone who was at ALL the Brighton/Palace games in the 70s and 80s) is that Brighton fans started responding to the Palace chant of "Eagles" by chanting back "Seagulls" as a piss take. In fact the first time I heard Palace shout "Eagles" was at a night game at Selhurst in...
Hate is obviously a personal thing (and I detect a bit of closet Spudism going on here) but why you would hate the Gooners more than Spuds (horrible part of London, previous with their fans), Chelsea (strange combination of thugs and company directors), West Ham (Essex geezers), Palarse (arch...
I haven't seen any negative comments about Norwich? I think it's good when people like Derby Canary come on NSC when they have interesting observations to make; it's useful to get an outside perspective. I also think NCFC are a decent club in a very similar mould to Albion.
Well let's hope he's learnt from his Norwich experience. I read that Delia reckons she sacked him prematurely, and Newcastle fans generally seemed to have loved the man.
Cheers James, I'm chuffed we've landed him; he must have been a hero in Newcastle when you won the 2010 Championship. It's hard to understand Mike Ashley's strategy for your lot; you get in some cracking players and go through winning phases but Ashley seems to undermine it by selling and...
Much though I would be pleased to have a Brian Clough type left wing manager the evidence hardly stacks-up that he is a moderate kind of bloke. As a mixed race person you would hardly expect him to be anything other than opposed to aparthied, but fair play to him for having principles.
Well so you should be sorry; people's taste buds differ and for many Harvey's Best hits the mark; there is no right or wrong. But the poster who made the point that people who like proper beer are the winners these days, whether it be real or craft, is correct.
Fuaca off mate; Harveys is a fine pint from a fine brewery and I'm delighted that Albion support a local brewery. I went to The Emirates Stadium recently and the only "beer" available in the stand I was in was big green bottles of Carlsberg.
