I’ll continue to have an opinion that protects women in toilets and the integrity of their sports personally, stop illegal immigrants who are breaking the law, stop race baiting and the race card being used constantly etc etc but the abuse and belittling above as soon as someone offers an opinion you don’t agree with just goes to show the people the democrats and left are. They can’t answer questions ever, they can’t answer what a women or man is and they virtue signal at every opportunity to try and make themselves feel better without actually listening to the facts.

The left have been exposed and the everyday person is finally speaking up. Finally. Well done Trump - you’re changing the world for the better in many opinions and are more popular than ever. There’s only one dignified side and it’s the actually called the middle, anti far left nonsense.

Did you actually read my post that you quoted? I'm on the same page as you on much of the stuff about bathrooms and sports and diversity initiatives

But I was pointing out that these aren't the biggest issues in the world. By 'stopping the woke', we've ended up with this unhinged fool in charge of the white house, and in the name of 'who uses which bathrooms' we're going to have a whole new world order, trade wars, likely escalation to real war and huge increases in wage disparity, damage to public health, major damage to the environment, complete rejection of any action to halt climate change, this leading to huge amounts of poverty, food crises and so on.

I'm not entirely sure that that was really worth keeping a few bearded ladies out of the women's loos.

Just watched the excellent Toxic Town on Netflix, thank f*** we ARE now a bit more woke… might be a drama, but based on fact and clearly demonstrates what can go wrong when there aren’t “woke” people saying “hang on, that’s not right”…

(One more time...) Being politically 'left' and being socially liberal (aka 'woke') are only classed as being the same thing by dim, easily influenced, daily mail readers. In reality (for example) David Cameron, George Osborne and even Boris Johnson are all pretty 'woke' in their views whilst being a long long way to the right politically (see also the Lib Dems). And I know plenty of properly 'left' people with whom I would disagree strongly on many social issues (being as I am well woke).

The whole woke thing, for anyone with half a brain is, very obviously, yet another cooked up moral panic about society falling apart and the enemy within (see also 'teenagers and rock and roll' in the 50's, 'drugs and homosexuality' in tbe 60's, 'long hair and punk' in the 70's etc) created to distract us from the real problems in society. In this case impending environmental catastrophe, the excessive concentration of wealth, the financialization of everything, the collapse of a global rules-based order and the rise of facism in the US. So nothing major.

The problem with this is that it’s actually really easy to remove a Prime Minister, whereas it’s very nearly impossible to remove a president

The only way is to either shoot them (been done before) or impeach them. Impeachment needs 2/3rds majority of senate then a trial by Supreme Court judges. Not going to happen while Republicans control both houses but his actions & siding with Putin is tantamount to treason.

The only good thing to come out of Trump’s flip flopping on various issues since he came to power is that irrespective of his views today ( as they could all change tomorrow depending which side of bed he gets out of ) is that Europe and the UK must now seize the initiative on their own on Ukraine and the economy generally. He has at least demonstrated, as if there was little doubt beforehand, that he cannot be trusted as anything he says or does is likely to change.

Trump is a see you next Tuesday of the highest order and I can only hope and pray that some time soon he gets what he deserves and all the cheer leaders on here hang your heads in shame surely you can now see the damage this clown is doing to the world

Matthew Goodwin, GBeebies presenter, backing Trump to the hilt. Slagging of the EU attempts to rectify the damage Trump is doing.

Never heard him speak before. By anyone’s standards, a complete arse.

Rightfully tutted at by the audience (its radio 4, very rarely any booing) and put right by the other panel members.

Not in a baying “lefty” way. That doesn’t tend to happen on AQ’s. But the facts were laid out concisely and presented to him.

Shooting them doesn’t always work I hear, especially if it’s a bad shot.
