He's a repeatedly failed, multiple bankrupted, criminally convicted, banned-from-charities, bullshitter of a lying, narcissistic grifter" who's daddy left him his money. He is most certainly NOT a businessman, although lots of his friends are - and they play him like a fiddle, and he thinks that they respect him.

He apparently bankrupted his casinos. How the f*** do you manage to bankrupt a casino?

The USA were helping out before they formally entered the war.

My Grandad's battleship, HMS Malaya, was torpedoed on convoy duty and put into New York for repairs in March 1941. The attack on Pearl Harbour was in the December of that year.
Yes, they were, but in a world where "helping out" involved "Lend Lease", which enabled the US to provide us with old gear at inflated prices and high interest (I simplify here) - however, we were very pleased to accept it at the time. I believe we finally paid off the debt in the 1960's, and of course we were even more appreciative as the war went on.

Take a look at unemployment numbers gone up since election. Business confidence down. Taxes up. GDP per capita down since election…inflation up since last election
We are all poorer and businesses are paying more tax.
That Is not how you grow the economy. Mate
Yeah . . . . Its like someone left the building and took the money tree with them.

If people don’t like it, they’ll vote in mid terms in 2 years.
We have to wait another 4…..
I believe that the only way a president can be removed early is by successful indictment - which still leaves his VP in the seat - and is unlikely when his party holds both houses.
Whereas in the UK a PM can be removed by party and/or opposition and/or public pressure at any time n their term.
Therefore, it seems to be easier to get rid of a UK Govt than a US President. Why wait 4 years?

Haha, only on North Stand Chat can you go from defending blanket statements about Americans to ending up listening to MAGA...

This actually helps me understand even more why Americans get blanket statements thrown at them. The way you're framing this as if your opinion represents all of the U.S is exactly why people generalise.

Out of curiosity, where in the US are you based?
I'm guessing South (central) wick.
Bruv.

Helping with repairs is the act of a neutral. See the Battle of the river Plate.

He can get impeached under the 25th amendment if he's declared unable to carry out his duties for example. Would still leave Vance though.

I wouldn't have, but I can understand some of those who did*.
And if the Ukraine 'war' stops soon......
And if the EU gives its head a wobble and creates a genuine military bloc that itself deters Putin going forward....

A stopped clock is right twice a day.
Sure, it is a stopped clock.
But it is also a clock.
Right, twice a day.

It could be said that Biden and his replacement (whose name I have already forgotten) were more wallpaper (flock) than clock.

Most people who voted for Trump are not MAGA.

*You are more persuasive when you don't try to explain, @lasvegan,
albeit who can blame you for trying given the frequency you were asked to do so, including by me
Yeah, I have been thinking of hiding this thread for this very reason (my wife thinks I’m crazy for even commenting) but then again she thinks you’re all crazier, lol.

Maybe I should keep my mouth shut and leave you all to agreeing with yourselves. Now there’s an interesting conversation…

Sorry, No.

As I've said previously, I don't think Trump is capable of working to any plan due to his complete lack of intellectual ability to grasp either concepts or detail and the narcissistic personality disorder he suffers from, together with a particularly nasty vindictive streak, makes our own homegrown narcissist 'Trolley' Johnson look like the most focused, strategic and intellectually brilliant leader ever.

The exact same reason he isn't a Russian Asset. They can't trust him to follow a plan or focus for 5 minutes either, so they are getting by on feeding him lines in their various meetings and watching him spew them out at random. They know he can't be controlled but have accepted he's a moron and are loving what's happening.

I'm afraid that what you are seeing is someone completely out of control with others trying to run around and 'support' him wherever he goes. It's not going to end well, but I can't see it going on for more than another 18 months at most 🙏
I'm fairly convinced he is a Russian asset and has been since the 80's Not a Russian spy who is controlled and instructed and passes intel to his handler, but a Russian asset who is influenced and encouraged to support Russia's position and who may or may not send Intel. Note how he backed Putin against his own intelligence services in 2019, how he says both he and Putin were victims of the "Russia hoax", and how he parrots Putin's line about Zelensky being a corrupt dictator who started the war. He is very much aligned with Putin.

You are now, officially, a lunatic.

I love how you are so self deluded that you think you bring anything to the thread. You consistently ignore points or questions put to you, and even after that disgusting display in the Oval Office the other day, your pathetic response is to have a pop at Harris.
Spence is an infantile troll, you clearly align yourself with Trump and his values and have nothing worthwhile to say in backing him up. You don't add anything to the 'conversation'.

Spence? Not sure where you’re at? Harris? Have another…
