From my Palace mate:

"Turns out Millwall flu still exists. Think we’ve only sold about 15,000 so far but they’ve made it ridiculously hard to buy tickets for a guest, so it’s basically only season ticket holders or members who could buy one, couple that with the fact it’s on TV and at a time where kids play football means less people are going. That said, seen a few people online saying they won’t go as they don’t want the hassle of being in a ground with them, pathetic."

Good to see their fanbase is just as flakey as ours, and is also partly responsible for the death of the FA Cup.

Surely the Palace supporters are the greatest fans of all time, with the best atmosphere in the world ever ever ever? How could they possibly not sell out four times over?

Funny, when we played them in the cup the amount of piss taking out of us from them for only selling around 15k tickets on a night when a) we'd just played them and there'd been lots of trouble and b) the trains were a total mess with strikes. 🤣 jokers

I don't think that's pathetic at all. If I had kids in tow I would probably stay at home and watch it on the box. Why bother with all those jumping cavemen ? Not worth the hassle. It's just a football match.

Football fans are not responsible for the death of the FA Cup, personally I would blame the FA and the tv companies.
Cup final hasn’t been on at 3pm for years like it was traditionally.
No replays.
4th round matches on over several days just for tv.
Semi finals at Wembley.

I recall Danny Baker said he and a lot of other Millwall fans hate Palace more than West Ham because they seem to play each other far more often, geographically closer and always get spawny results against them.

Palace to win on penalties then?

Sales were slow as usual at home against 'Wall, but sold out just after 9am yesterday.

I owe all of you an apology

A week or two go I posted suggesting I couldn’t think of a match I’d like to watch less than Everton vs Palace. But, here we are.
