This video is a joy to behold and makes me realise even more what a top player and lovely person we have signed.
He is still only 20 years old.

We all know how hard he works in defence as well as attack. But his body language with his colleagues show what a team player he is. After his first goal, at the end of his celebration he made a point of finding Welbeck to give him a hug for providing the assist.
He also went over to find Pedro on the substitutes bench to give him a hug and make him feel included.
He even acknowledged Cucurella towards the end of the game to acknowledge the battle he had been in with him (and won handsomely).
I also enjoyed the bit when he was substituted just before the end and was running off, and Ayari seemed to tell him to slow things down, so he immediately changed to a slow walk to waste a few seconds.

With the likes of Rutter, Webster and Welbeck we have some great positive role models.
We may get into Europe, we may not. But I do feel we have a very honest, hardworking squad and Yakuba Minteh is a vital part of that.

Thank you Newcastle.

His attitude and character is lovely to see, same for Rutter. We recruited very well with those. I think we need to close the shop over the summer and then Europe is a possibility.

Hopefully put only Pedro in the window, and perhaps Buonanotte.

We need to pop Baleba, Mitoma, Minteh, van Hecke, Hinshelwood, Gomez and Rutter in the store cupboard until the transfer window closes.
If we can hang on to that little bunch we will have a team to be reckoned with next season.

And don't forget we already have 'It's Tzimas!' and Malick Yalcouyé already signed.

What a time to be alive.

I also noticed that and thought I might be imaging it.

He just doesn't stop running – normally very fast!

He's one of the rawest wide players in the league. But his work rate is incredible. He always helps out his full-backs and makes a real effort to run back.

He could have had a hat-trick against Southampton. He just needs to brush up on his passing and shooting. His passing accuracy can tends to range in the 60-70% range.

By 22 or so, he could be a very good RW if he keeps improving.

I think he also need to work on his clearances, that corner he gave away was absolutely comical, love the guys energy and work rate though. Bit of fine tuning and I think we've got another gem on our hands

It's amazing how far he has progressed in even the 6 months or so of the season so far, imagine what he'll be like 12 months from now if he continues this trend

I like him..oodles of raw talent..and his double ‘overhead’ kick attempted clearance in the second half yesterday was glorious.

Lovely development from him. A few months ago he seemed keen on making football look very complicated but now he is far more direct and playing to his strengths.

Well said. He's worked so hard since his early performances when he was a bit wayward - now he's integrated and clearly just loving it. He celebrates every Albion goal as if he scored it - I love him!!
