[Politics] Musk (real life Bond villain planning world domination) needs a thread.

He’s a hero in my book, starlink has changed my internet browsing experience substantially here in rural Sussex !
With BT I had trouble even watching a movie, constantly buffering but now with starlink it’s instant, it makes watching porn so much more satisfying 😄
Bit jerky before was it?

@Bozza might know more, but I'm they are regular visitors here or have their own NSC accounts. They are probably FAR too busy working on world domination to get involved with adding Wordle scores, giving their opinions on the latest young starlet the club has been linked with or venting their frustrations about the Notts Forest game – although 'Nige' would possibly gloat, given he's a fan of them up the road (I seem to recall)...
I had a great exchange with Elon on the tomato chilli thread. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Please delete this thread.

People like Musk, Trump and Farage love the attention. They thrive on it.

Where’s the David Attenborough thread? Or whoever is the latest Nobel prize winner?

By all means hold these people to account through threads about what they are doing, but lionizing them with their own threads doesn’t help
In my humble opinion.
Whilst I sympathise with your view, I think it's important to keep exchanging information about what is happening on the global stage and who the bad actors are. Democracy dies in the dark. To have any chance at all, we need to stay informed and stick together.

Besides, I'm sure none of these cretins has the slightest idea this thread exits.

I have no problem with that, but I would rather these bad actors were outed on threads that related to the things they were doing e.g. ‘DOGE: unelected body’

Whilst a funny post - and I did laugh - you know what I mean.

We keep replicating this attention seeking across every forum and they e got what they crave - fame.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. These dudes crave the attention – Trump especially seems so thirsty to be the most-liked person in the world, which is a bit pathetic really.

So the guy that's all about freedom of speech is the one that's coming after your data to sell it ?.....
He doesn't care about freedom of speech though. The prefix "cis" gets you shadowbanned on X.

X has accepted more government requests for censorship than Twitter did it's entire existence.

He's not pro free speech, he's pro what he thinks.
We need more people like Musk in this world in my opinion. We need people that push forward.
We need more people like Luigi Mangione in the world.
Its amazing how people attack him when he's the one getting rid of corruption in government...
He is the corruption in Government.

Many of the organisations that him and Trump have been axing have oversight over the companies he runs. Everything is for his and other billionaires benefit.

Absolute sheep behaviour to just swallow whatever comes out of Musk's arse.

Moral Maze question: is it OK to vandalise a Tesla if the owner definitely bought it after we all found out that Musk was a fascist **** with plans for world domination? 😜

DOGE fired 20 people in the FDA’s office of neurological and physical medicine devices, including the head of the division. The very people reviewing Musk's Neuralink.
What a surprise. If he gets rid of benefits paid to 150 year old that don't exist, fair play but he is not focused on that.
I also hate the phrase 'bad actors'. Although, I can see Trump is a bad actor but Musk is not acting, he is an egotistical billionaire intent on ruling the world!

They haven't even done that. His 'expert' team is made up of a bunch of kids who dont understand the database, and it seems they've fired the people that do!

He might be the richest man in the world, but he's an idiot.

not wanting to give benefit of the doubt, however in this case it most likely stops the approval process until someone reassigned which takes time. that and it doesn't look like there's been any other DOGE audit on FDA.

He didn't seem so bad when he acted like he was helping the poor on The Big Bang Theory. And he would eat partially eaten pumpkin with Howard.
