I didn't tune in but the stats don't back that up. One shot that wasn't on target, zero chances created (against the worst team in the league), zero successful dribbles, 17% cross accuracy, dispossessed twice, zero tackles won out of two.
I also saw from his first game it was mentioned he had a good debut , but then I saw ‘ground duels won 1/3’

No joy for Jackson though - doesn't make the squad. Perhaps that's out of kindness for a youngster as they're away to Rangers!

Jackson is cup tied as he played for Livingston in an earlier round, which was his only appearance for them.

More possible opportunities tonight for our loanees -
(details as and when announced per the BBC)

CL - Brest at home to PSG; Sima started.
Championship - Pompey at home to Cardiff; Mark O'Mahony - back fit again and on the bench.
League 1 -
Blackpool at home to Rotherham; Odel Offiah - starts.
Crawley at home to Stevenage; Kamari Doyle - on the bench.
Mansfield away to The Orient; Caylan Vickers - starts.
National League - Gateshead at home to Braintree; Louis Flower - not tonight though; game postponed!

As there have been a number of recent moves away, both loanees and U21s - thought it might be good to keep tabs on them for a bit too.
FA Cup - Exeter at home to Forest; Ed Turns - lucky he was an unused sub in the 3rd. round - straight in to start tonight.
Championship - Norwich at home to PNE; Ruari McConville - on the bench. Not surprising, they've obviously bought him for the future. With a solid CB pairing of Duffy and Doyle (a top level loanee with three higher echelon Championship loans behind him, and an England U21 to boot, McConville was never likely to feature much this year, unless there were injuries; guess that's why it was a sale not a loan.
League 1 - Birmingham - at home to Cambridge; Leonard hasn't recovered from the (bad looking) injury he suffered in the cup match; Alex Cochrane starts - and maybe there will be a chance to spot the elusive Taylor Richards playing for Cambridge.................... err, no!
League 2 - Ex Albion clash - AFC Wimbledon, who have James Furlong (who left us a couple of years back) on loan from Hull are playing Crewe, who've got Max Sanders (remember him - a while back now!) in their squad. Furlong on the bench (but Brighton OB James Tilley does start). Max Sanders on the bench.

FYI, Wimbledon also have James Tilley permanently who is a regular starter. I saw them play on Boxing Day and their two stand-out players were Tilley and Josh Neufville, their two wing-backs. Neufville on the right set up Tilley from the left for their goal.

Fair play, I missed him (mind you, he's been gone a fair while!)

Chance to see our recently departed CB and former loanee Ed Turns live on ITV now - wonder if he can do a better job on Forest than the seniors did last week?!
