He’s doing ok tbf - nearly just scored
Now teamed up front with Jordan Rhodes, a veteran campaigner almost (but not quite) old enough to be his father! Good player, Rhodes, been around the block a few times and a wily old campaigner these days, even if his legs have gone a bit - could teach young Caylan a useful trick or two!

Promising start for the lad - positive comments on fans' forum. MOTM?

FA Cup 4th. round day!

Chances for Andrew Moran (home to Cardiff) and Jeremy Sarmiento (away to Southampton) to be involved - full runners and riders for all the 3 o'clock KOs, Cup and League, here later.

Lot of potential former Albion interest in the 4th. round today though. No joy for Connolly and BBB (now just plain Baker) for the midday Millwall trip to Leeds (although deserter to Chelsea Zak Sturge is on the bench).
Elsewhere there is possible involvement for Jensen Weir (Wigan at home to Fulham) and Alex Cochrane and Marc Leonard (Birmingham at home to the Beheadies in the other late KO).

Edit: Oops - missed this - Massive also have an early KO, away to the Baggies. Beadle starts (of course!)

Also opportunities for Doyle and Offiah in L1, Barrington in L2, and Flower in the National League. In Europe, Tzimas started for Nuremberg against Magdeburg, and Osman could feature against Sparta Rotterdam this evening.

Doyle starts, Offiah and Flower too. Barrington benched - it's his first appearance in a Grimsby matchday squad since January 18th, and if he comes on, it'll be his first minutes for the club since January 4th.

Sarmiento starts in the cup.

FA Cup 4th. round day (part deux).
(as they come up on the BBC)
FA Cup:
Sarmiento starts for Burnley;
Stoke appearing to have difficulty naming a team! Ah - at last they've managed it! No Andrew Moran though;
Former Albion U21 prospect Jensen Weir starts for Wigan against Fulham;
Championship:
Last minute equaliser for James Beadle's Massive at West Brom, even later (90+9) winner for the Baggies! (another Albion OB, Jason Molumby, booked for over-celebrating it!);
Mark O'Mahony still not recovered sufficiently to make the Pompey squad;
Recent departee McConville starts his Norwich career on the bench; :(
Leagues 1 and 2:
Kamari Doyle starts for his new loan club, Crawley, up at Bolton;
Odel Offiah starts for the Tangerines;
Luca Barrington on the bench again, home to Mark Hughes' Carlisle;
Another OB, went to Hull, loaned to AFC Wimbledon, James Furlong is starting for them today;
The rest:
Louis Flower gets off to a start for Gateshead at Wealdstone;
OK, not ours any more, but a recently departed U21/loanee Imari Samuels on the bench for Dundee in the Scottish Cup (up against another Brighton OB playing for Airdrieonians, Ben Wilson).
