[Albion] The Chelsea wins.....and reactions to them.

Fab lost the dressing room? None of our new signings good enough?

Where are the trolls/bedwetters now? 😂

Rutter absolutely fantastic.
Minteh born to run.
Two children (Baleba and Hinshelwood) bossed the midfield - think how good the future looks.
Gomez looks like an absolute beast.
Lamptey brilliant.

Performance from the whole team great. Clearly all together. Chelsea has great players and we restricted them to f*** all.

I'm not saying Fab is our lord and saviour, still lots to prove, but people calling for his head mid season with all the injuries we've had are a disgrace.

Give it until the end of the season, then we can assess.
Perhaps give it till after next 2 games and see if ' Bedwetting is still alive and kicking(me included)'😁

Interesting.
That's how tropes start.
Someone says something and then lots of other people try explaining it, and comment when it apparently changes.
When if fact the basic premise was never correct.

Well we don’t know it’s completely incorrect either. Effort and desire might be missing in some areas or in some players, or it may not be.

The better position is simply to say that we don’t know and actually, we probably can’t know.

I don't know about that.

It's like comparing a panto starring Stephen Mulhern and Macbeth with David Tennant.
Bart was deffo auditioning for Jack and the Beanstork alongside Sue Pollard, Mulhern and Lamahl rather than the Shakespeare gig.

It's funny - certain posters had posted about 50 times just an hour after last week's loss and haven't stopped all week with their relentless negativity. Seems a lot quieter from those posters tonight - almost as though they prefer it when we lose....
I try to empathise, but even the thought of living life through that lense of constant negativity is depressing in itself 😳

One Swallow doesn't make a summer

Rather be a realist than a Licker

That cuts both ways. Last week didn’t deserve the outpouring of vitriol that was poured out endlessly by the same old suspects.

Calling people who actually support the Albion lickers isn’t a brilliant look on an Albion forum, but you crack on.

It’s a great job we had a brilliant victory yesterday, all the better to cope with this 7-0 thread of dire football chat

Wait...as a supporter you try to support the team and players?!

Get out of here "licker". Your job is only to moan and criticise everything and everyone.

Sure, if you look objectively we're in one of the best periods in the clubs entire history. But there's no time for that sort of reality check on this forum.

I'm off my antidepressants and will be miserable about everything whether you like it or not. NSC shouldn't be a nice place to enjoy supporting our team, it should be a cesspit of despair and drama, where we come to moan about the team we love.

Just you wait for the next loss. I guarantee we'll lose another game this season! And if I'm proven right, then I'll be also proven right that this whole club is clearly falling apart.

Deepest, darkest Sussex

Reminds me of some on here this last week, been ridiculous

I respect everyone's opinions after a game and we all have different views. I don't refer to anyone as lickers or bedwetters as we all want us to win every game. NSC is a forum for us to vent, moan, grumble when we lose and likewise get excited, dream and give praise when we win. I enjoy all the opinions from young and older posters and likewise, don't categorise the so called JCL's which are the future of our club with the likes of me getting on a bit! I get frustrated when we lose purely because we have got ourselves in a position to challenge the big boys and the European places something, that I never ever believed was possible after the days of the Goldstone Gillingham and Withdean! Europe last season was unreal and to get there again (even conference) will be great achievement. A cup win again, something that will be beyond my wildest dreams.
For our club to be playing the big boys matching/beating the big boys is something, just a few years ago, seemed almost impossible. Those so called JCL's are new supporters that we've won since getting to the Premier league, the future who spend lots of money to keep us where we are(hopefully). Bedwetters, lickers whatever but we all want the same. Brighton to be as successful as possible challenging for trophies and European football in the biggest league of them all!

Yes it does cut both ways

Descibing people who atually support the Albion as "bedwetters" and telling them to f*** off after one good result isnt a good look either.

Were you at Leicester? Were you at the Wolves home game?

I should wait a bit longer before dishing it out

I watched both, both were incredibly frustrating.

However, what you do, when you jump on our coach (and by proxy) our players and our board isn’t actually supporting anything.

Young coach, young players, every moving part of the club in its present form has a potential ricket in it. The job of supporters in such a scenario is to encourage and support.

If you can’t support the club’s choices (inexperienced coach, inexperienced players) then you’re not actually supporting the club. Nobody comes home from a 7-0 defeat thinking they’ve had a good day at the office, everyone was fully aware we’d been shit.

You’re welcome to continue however you want, we’ve each got access to the ignore function if we need it. For me, I struggle to see how anyone so quick to tear down a young coach that the club have put in place can be genuine fans.

The guy’s in his first season in the PL. Yes the home form’s been ropey, but he’s hardly the first coach that’s been true of. Time and patience is what’s required, generally people improve with experience.

Time will tell, not euphoria.
Nor BED-WETTING!

If people learned to just tut when we lose there would be no need for 'euphoria' when we win.

Not wishing to create a football equivalent of Godwin's law but.....
We have been through the damp mattress thing at Hereford, and during Falmerforall.

Calling for the manager (and even the CEO FFS) to be sacked when we are 11th in the league, the top league, is weapons-grade needy.

I'm done on this now.

I get your point. But as I stated, describing people as "bedwetters" and telling them to f*** off is not exactly helpful

For what it's worth I think Our coach is out of his depth, but I desperately want him to succeed. Time will tell, but getting all high and mighty about one good result is not exactly helpful. The cub will still continue with or without Fabian

We’ve had a lot of good results and the same amount of disappointing ones. I think your expectations are far too high.
