RVN really is coming across as a bit of a prick with our boy...

“When you strengthen the team, your chances will improve, there’s no doubt about that.
“But the means were not there to do so. It wasn’t possible. Also the loans were blocked because we have two players. The disappointment is that two loans are not having the minutes so they’re not strengthening the team. We looked at foreign loans.”

To be fair to the person who's written that article there seen through his weasel words there. He was their top goalscorer and assisted before RVN there, so it's really clear who the problem lies with.

He could have sent him back, there wouldn't have been any objections.

It's not just Facundo he's letting down.

Cooper had 10 points from 12 games when they sacked him -8 goal average. They were in 16th, a point above the drop;
Van Nistlerooy's also now had 12 games: 7 points, -20 goal average. They are 18th, two points below the drop.

During his stint, their form has been the second worst in the division. They have won only two points more than Southampton during that period. He played for Man Utd though.

Quite. Cooper has experience and would have kept them up. The time to worry about style is when you get a bit established. Just like us when we moved out CH and brought in GP. Much better style and more effective too.

Silver lining is that he might be very keen to come back to the Albion at season’s end……as long as he’s not another young prospect FH doesn’t fancy over some sicknotes already here :smile:

Hmmm....you think we replaced CGH after he got us established?
He nearly got us relegated, before he was sacked.
And Potter didn't do much better in the next season.

Ironically Fabby is doing much better than either of them in those seasons.
And yet everyone thinks he's a useless prat.

Tough (and slightly weird) crowd.

Mixed feelings on the Leicester board - criticism for RvN continually fielding the same team (and losing) all the time, and also for possibly damaging Facundo's confidence, but also some criticism that Buonanotte isn't quite as good as he thinks he is/as good as he was early on.
