So..... "Give me Greenland, and I'll stop the tariffs" ? Is that likely to be his line? Will the EU cave on that? I hope not. Somebody has to stand up to this blowhard and punch him on the nose.
Surely nothing to do with the EU. A matter for the Danish and the inhabitants of Greenland.

All this could have a very negative knock on for the UK economy,

Or does that not concern you ?

What has he actually 'won'? Pretending to send more troops to a border they don't patrol very well is hardly going to stop much.
he only has to gain something to wave in front of the Trumpian supports, who dont really pay attention to the details underneath. he'll proudly state he's forced Mexico to patrol to border, ignoring the actual outcome on fentanyl and immigrants. see the wall, who paid for it.

So are those 10,000 mexicans going to be working for the US on the US side of the border?

It's my understanding that the US are in charge of controlling what comes into the US? So is there much benefit to have a load more mexicans their side?

I guess the MAGA loons will not question this too closely and just declare a victory for Trump.

Yes.

Apparently, it’s almost impossible to legally buy a firearm in Mexico. But the drug gangs are armed to the teeth. Why?

Well, it turns out that there are around 500,000 guns smuggled into Mexico per year from the States. If that tap switches off, American arms manufacturers (who obviously turn a blind eye to this) will lose millions and millions. Fingers crossed.

Apparently 70% of guns recovered from crime scenes in Mexico can be traced back to America. It's about 85-90% in Canada.

Maybe this is Trump's masterplan. Stamp out gun sales, and make the world a more peaceful place??

Trump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said.

Reads very much to me like Trump views Starmer as someone he can cow into submission.
A 12 year old could cow that wet piece of bread Starmer into submission.

So, he's given Canada another 30 days. Apparently it's about banks now. He's crying because we won't let US banks open in Canada.

I wonder what it will be next month? Maybe we don't give them a fair share of maple syrup.

Can you sell your oil elsewhere? That would really hurt them.

I am interested to know if you are still on team Trump? As the most sensible of his supporters on here are you, as expected, finding the economic benefits enough to continue to look away from the rest of his buffoonery?
Economic benefits after 14 days? Let’s see where we’re at after 14 months. Yes, still team Trump, the last 4 years were a complete debacle, and the Democrat Party is currently an utterly shambolic mess, seemingly run by the clinically insane. Who is their leader?

Hopefully the Mexican Military can reign in the cartels somehow. They are truly evil people costing tens of thousands of American lives annually, not to to mention the suffering of the child and sex trafficking victims.

Thank you for the kind words, the most sensible of the dumbest of the dumb I’ll take as the compliment it was meant…😏
