You sure. Mexico just surrendered to Trump. They won't be the last either Trump wins again

Surrendered? Mexico are moving 10,000 troops to the border. Looks more like an invasion force than a surrender.

All this could have a very negative knock on for the UK economy,

Or does that not concern you ?

What has he actually 'won'? Pretending to send more troops to a border they don't patrol very well is hardly going to stop much.
he only has to gain something to wave in front of the Trumpian supports, who dont really pay attention to the details underneath. he'll proudly state he's forced Mexico to patrol to border, ignoring the actual outcome on fentanyl and immigrants. see the wall, who paid for it.

So are those 10,000 mexicans going to be working for the US on the US side of the border?

It's my understanding that the US are in charge of controlling what comes into the US? So is there much benefit to have a load more mexicans their side?

I guess the MAGA loons will not question this too closely and just declare a victory for Trump.

Yes.

Apparently, it’s almost impossible to legally buy a firearm in Mexico. But the drug gangs are armed to the teeth. Why?

Well, it turns out that there are around 500,000 guns smuggled into Mexico per year from the States. If that tap switches off, American arms manufacturers (who obviously turn a blind eye to this) will lose millions and millions. Fingers crossed.
