Two people with absolutely zero experience of management, for half a season, isn’t going to happen. If a decision is made to let FAB go, having Lallana as Manager with Milner as Asst Manager until at least the end of the season would make sense. Lallana worked under both Potter and RDZ and knows how TB wants to play football.
We are safe from relegation so nothing to lose and much to gain if harmony can be restored. Can't say there are any experienced managers out of a job at the moment who would be sutable to our style of play. Might be different at the end of the season.
Think he said "we let the fans down here and at home, we let ourselves down and him" presumably Fab?Or anything for that matter. 'What went wrong?)' 'Everything.'
He also struggled to look at the camera or interviewer. It was eyes down just about all the time. Never seen him look and sound so uncomfortable.
Did you watch any of our games whilst Welbeck was out? Joao Pedro cannot lead the line. Rutter is similar. There's a reason they (and the team) play better when Welbeck plays.
I only hope this late loan out for Ferguson means we're bringing someone in, but I doubt it. Bloom & Barber hate buying in the Jan window, and we would be negotiating from a position of weakness so would end up having to pay even more over the odds.
I know we are famous for it but the last 2 and a half windows (inc this one) have been poorI know.
Brighton is famous for its hopeless recruitment and laughable financial model.
We are the joke club of England.
Everyone has been saying that.
Putting aside the fact that we have other players who can play or at least fill in as a nine (and score goals doing so), Evan is only “our best young striker” because of his past form and future potential - as opposed to his current form - and our lack of comparably talented young strikers, PL proven ones anyway (sorry Duffus). So it’s not a distinction that means all that muchBeyond our best young striker being loaned out despite us only having one other striker at the club.
With the transfer window shutting and with it any agent chatter in his ear, that he gets is head fully back into getting his career back on track with Brighton. He needs to bloody show it then
I thought Georginio played No.9 very well against Norwich. Better than any performance Fergie has put in for the last year or so.Did you watch any of our games whilst Welbeck was out? Joao Pedro cannot lead the line. Rutter is similar.
I think if I had been on the wrong side of the biggest defeat in a lifetime / career, and one where I had scored the crucial first goal in my own net, I too would look and sound uncomfortable!Or anything for that matter. 'What went wrong?' 'Everything.'
